why is there no DDs even as a cameo for13,26,32,38,39,54,63,66,78,79,83,163.130,135,162,195,518,506, and i think it is a waste having VSOs on citybuzz as it is all ways running eampty

13 - Due to Upp East coast terminal(i guess)

32 - height meter
38 - narrow roads at Simei
39 - height of 4.3m at Yishun int(entrance)
54 - dunno

66 - due to height
78 - can't remember

130 - used to have DD in the 90's

I'm sure you understood the real purpose of CityBuzz services, don't you? Citybuzz was introduced to compete with the DuckTours OPEN top buses, so hw can u put LO3X? MOdern buses have to be used as the lighting is brighter at nite, seats are more comfortable & VSOs are low step buses making it convenient even for the handicapped & elderly... the headroom is higher than LO3x. The buses generate revenue from advertisements

sv135 has no DD coz the frequency is high to make up for the high demand
sv54,sv195,sv518,sv163 has low demand, do also note some svcs have Short working Trips to make up for the demand at certain bus-stops -

I don't understand why people love making stupid remarks yet try to act smart. If you think SBST is DAMM stupid, why don't you go try and run SBST then let us see what kind of smart decisions you can make? -
In fact, I do personally think that CityBuzz should never have been started.

This is my view of CityBuzz. Personally, I think it is a great way for tourists to get around the city and see all the sights. Plus, there is a whole-day pass where they can enjoy unlimited travel. This means there can no hassles and you can explore the city at your own pace. On one of the CityBuzz that I rode, I overheard a conversation between 2 tourists who were really enjoying the ride. They like the upper deck and they like the aircon.
However, I don't think there is a need for 3 routes. Perhaps just one route is enough to cover all. I adsolutely don't agree to the deployment of VSO. Sure, they are SBS's topline buses but its an eyesore to see a bus capable of 130 passengers running around with just a couple of people on board. I think a Volvo B7R or a Scania L94 double-deck is more suitable. -

So, the bottom-line is the buses look nice, but they seldom go beyond that, though I agree that we need to make these svcs appealing, frankly speaking, I dun feel gd whenever I get fried on the LO3Xs on 72.

for used of DD buses alike Hong Kong DD buses..

195 is definately not low demand, freq is relatively ok and Ive seen full buses before. 518 demand is good during weekends and peak hrs, not low demand. -

Cant have DD bus because of Various reasons like low demand, Narrow Roads and height limit.. Some Other Services just wont have DD Bus as their Freq is already good enough to serve the people along the route. -

i say sv195 is low dd coz the times i saw it, it's relatively empty, mayb it has been supplemented by sv195A/B
it's true wat u said about sv518, high dd during Peak/Weekends other than tt, u notice tt sv518 during off peak, the ridership is mediocre -
