98 became Jurong East to Jurong Pier Road Loop -
What type of Volvo was that in the picture....it looks quite familar to me. I remember the interior was wrapped in wooden grain panels, as the same with the seat backs. The engine cover was jutting out next to the driver, beside the entrance.
Two types of these, a V and MB. Volvo indicates a rounded front while MB has a inclined-plane front, correct me if I'm wrong. -

The B57 came in 2 models; one depicted in the picture and ther other with a raised roof in front with a much flatter roof leading to the rear. Both models were designed by New Zealand Motor Bodies (NZMB).

Another bus with the NZMB body is the Mercedes Benz OF1417. The main difference between the B57 and the OF1417 is the lack of the little window just after the entrance on the latter. -

Now gone only an empty field left. I love this bus terminal. After work or meeting frens, can order take aways from the hawker centre. Before Woodlands Central and Causeway point existed, this was the so called Marsiling Central.

sv 951 - Boon Lay. Quick connection to Boon Lay via BP, Bt Batok Road. Sv178 ridership drops. Introducing DAF hispanos.
