I haven't been to CCK for years, but is the distance between the Int and the bus stop @ CCK Ave 4, as far apart as the distance between AMK MRT Station and AMK Int? If the distance in CCK that far as AMK, then we can consider as far.Originally posted by smrt_950:Perhaps you might want to take a trip to Choa Chu Kang and see for yourself just how far the bus int is from the bus stop outside Lot 1 shopping ctr. And then tell me whether it took you one whole day.
And are you questioning what I've said? Go to CCK and see the posters yourself.
Nonsense...it cannot be that farOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:I haven't been to CCK for years, but is the distance between the Int and the bus stop @ CCK Ave 4, as far apart as the distance between AMK MRT Station and AMK Int? If the distance in CCK that far as AMK, then we can consider as far.
About 500m i guess.Originally posted by cck_190:Nonsense...it cannot be that farThe distance is just 1 MRT station long.
Around there lah...Originally posted by cck_190:Nonsense...it cannot be that farThe distance is just 1 MRT station long.
Should be ok to walk from the bus stop to the interchange, because not as far as the distance between AMK Int and AMK MRT Station.Originally posted by sbst275:Around there lah...
Right, AMK still to cross road. CCK got at least got covered walkway.Originally posted by kuekj:At least there's a Lot 1 providing air-conditioned comfort between CCK Int and MRT/LRT.
The temp AMK Int and AMK MRT is like miles away under the hot sun.. I certainly miss those days when the former interchange was just an underpass away..
Thats why i'm also still waiting for the guides..maybe we should Feedback to Them.Or maybe at BPJ int got.CCK Int i guess don't have.Originally posted by 5454:how come there still no service guides for 975 SMRT is so lazy
the renumbering is consistent with the long-term plan of moving the numbers of SMRTB services that it took over from SBST back into its 8xx and 9xx numbers. in addition, this service will now be a bt panjang-based service, originating from bt panjang int. thus, it will take on the 97x series numbering intended for bt panjang trunk services.Originally posted by i_am_a_penis:has it ever dawned on you guys...
the route amendment to Bt Panjang Interchange is ok, but ..
what for renumbering it to 975???? any reasons behind it???
why don't maintain it as 175?????
along choa chu kang road, so weird to have two SMRT services numbered 172 and 975.....

75 can be renumbered to 875Originally posted by sbs&tibs:What about 75? How is it going to be renumbered?
No need to convert lah, waste money. SMRT should use the money to buy more buses, to increase their frequency.Originally posted by 5454:75 can be renumbered to 875
I quite agree that the numbering is quite inconsistant.Originally posted by phillipC:The renumbering has been consistently inconsistent.
just wonder how are they going to renumber 75 should this service has any amendment.
They have messed up the numbers until they also dunt know how deal with it.
example: BBI got 852,941,945,947.
How they renumber the 61,173, 189 and 177,106?
61 to 961? Impossible cos the existing 961 ply from Woodlands to Gelylang area.
173 may be to 973. but 97X series is more for BP.
177 to 977. but 97X series for BP as well.
189 to 989, it will cause a hell of confusion. Becos previously run 989 ply from CCK to Changi airport.
106 I also dunt know how to renumber !!!!!!!

860 into 865 when extended to HarbourFront. The route of 860 is the same as the current 119.Originally posted by loudmonkey:I quite agree that the numbering is quite inconsistant.
If I remember correctly, 181 was renumbered 961. And 160 was renumbered 980. And 372 into 903. Anymore?
Any case, I dont think they will want to renumber everything. It would become too confusing.
