  VO not equals Volvo B9TL
  the Volvo B9TL is called the B9TL, not the VO or VSO or VSSO or whatever
  VSO not equals B9TL
  VSO equals B10TL
  The demo DD SBS9889U is a B10TL, not a B9TL.
  The new DDs SBST ordered and may be coming in August are B9TLs

  Volvo Buses secures order for 150 double-deck buses for Singapore
  
  Volvo Buses has secured a contract to supply 150 double-deck buses to Singapore's largest public bus operator, SBS Transit. SBS Transit has around 2,700 buses in its city-bus fleet of which 66% are Volvo.
  
  This is the first major order for the new Volvo B9TL 3-axle double-deck chassis, which is equipped with a 9.4-litre Euro-3 engine, multi-speed automatic gearbox
  with inbuilt retarder.
  
  The B9TL features low independent front suspension, providing SBS Transit
  passengers ease of access with a low and stepless entry and exit at front and rear doors.
  
  The chassis is fitted ex-factory with 2 x 140 amp alternators and 3 x rotary
  air-conditioning compressors, providing strong and reliable cooling for
  Singapore's hot and humid climate. This feature also provides for a quick recovery
  cycle of the upper and lower saloon temperature, following multiple and frequent
  opening and closing during service of passenger entry and exit doors.
  
  The 150 B9TL chassis are to be built at Volvo Buses plant at Borås, Sweden,
  with the bodies manufactured in Singapore by ComfortDelGro Engineering.
  Deliveries of the complete buses will commence in August 2005 and continue for 12 months.

  Captain, you better start instilling some discipline into this place. This place isn't what is was before when it was first started already. Now, all I see are some people masquerading as bus fans and try to flaunt their limited knowledge of buses here.
  
  No wonder there was a mass exodus of bus fans from this place.

  The website has NOT been updated with Volvo B9TL Chassis information. Also, the Vovlo B9TL is equipped with a Volvo D9A300 engine, NOT a D10A285 of a Volvo B10TL.
  
  Also, I would like to stress that a Volvo B9TL is NOT a new type of Volvo Olympian. A Volvo Olympian evolves from a Leyland Olympian, a Volvo B10TL evolves from a Volvo Olympian, and a Volvo B9TL evolves from a Volvo B10TL.
  
  If some of you don't really know the facts, pls DO NOT flaunt it down here. You will make yourself look like some jackass. It doesn't reflect very good reputation on your own. Also, by flaunting ur ignorance here, a lot of senior members would feel like banging themselves against the walls. Got it?

  and THEY will be IN Singapore IN AUGUST, not NOW!
  
  the demo u see is a B10TL, otherwise known as a VSO to the common folk.
  
  and for the last time....
  
  THE NEW BUS is NOT a B9TL
