where did you get the info fromOriginally posted by Volvo Olympian:SBST is going to introduced the service 408. This service will ply between Harbourfront to Labrador Park. The service will start on 12 March 2005 at 9am.
The Service 408 is also called as PARKS408.Well this the first time SBSTintroduced good services unlike that SMRT.
I think North and Northwestern people also affected.Originally posted by phillipC:SBST has a lot of iniatiatives to introduce many new services.
Unlike SMRT, hardy introduce more than 2 new services in a year.
Who suffer? Western people in Singapore!
950- in 2004
966 - in 2003
(correct me if i am wrong)
403 uses Scania's.Originally posted by i_am_a_penis:dennis dart will suffice, just like Svc 42 and 92
but due to shortage of such fleets, i think most prob would be Merc 0405 DM just like Svc 403 and 405
Not possible... It has to u turn at Car ParkOriginally posted by i_am_a_penis:maybe it'll deploy VSO just like citybuzz..lol
Both. First loop at CP A, then proceed to loop at CP B and return, skipping CP A.Originally posted by sbst275:Which Car Park is it Looping at?
I don't think the two urls that you gave are working.Originally posted by 5454:do you guys think sbst will have a website for this service too maybe www.parksbuses.com.sg or www.parks.com.sg
In my opinion, service 408 needs to stay as Alexandra station is at the main road. Without service 408, it takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk in.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:By then the once the Circle Line is completed, Labrador Park will be linked with Circle Line with connections to Harbour Front and Buona Vista interchanges.
From the future MRT Stn, it is not even within walking dist of 400mOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:By then, once the Circle Line is completed, Labrador Park will be linked with Circle Line with connections to Harbour Front and Buona Vista interchanges. There onwards, Sv 408 will no longer be useful to the commuters.
coz 4xx svcs are for leisure buses tt operates at a higher frequency and weekend, special periods [xcept for sv403]. This is to differentiate from Normal svcs. 8 is for the bus svc to prosper and hopefully fill ridership.Originally posted by i_am_a_penis:a childish enquiry...
do u guys know how does SBST pick the numbers for a new service to be introduced, eg, why pick "408" for this service and not other numbers??
they use the 4-digit methods by singapore pool also??
Do you mean 966?Originally posted by tanjun:I think service 963 is introduced in 2003 by SMRT.
I recently saw a notice about this new service 408 going from Harbourfront to Labrador Park at Harbourfront Interchange. Does anyone know where to find the exact route of service 408?
