If it's true, I wonder which services was deployed there?Originally posted by i_am_a_penis:in the 80s there used to be a bus terminal situated at labrador park if i'm not wrong
Services 51, 166 and 215.Originally posted by Volvo_Volgren:If it's true, I wonder which services was deployed there?
But 410 is BSH feeder.Originally posted by Acx1688:coz 4xx svcs are for leisure buses tt operates at a higher frequency and weekend, special periods [xcept for sv403]. This is to differentiate from Normal svcs. 8 is for the bus svc to prosper and hopefully fill ridership.
Sv 410 is kinda funny... It was not classified as a feeder sv till late 90'sOriginally posted by iveco:But 410 is BSH feeder.
Then how come? Dennis Dart only got 10 buses..For 42 and 92Originally posted by tranquilice:Expect service 408 to use Dennis Darts due to 3 reasons. First is that the stretch of Labrador Villa Rd outside the food centre (one-way road) is narrow and there is illegal parking on both sides of the road, so 12m buses will have serve problems passing thru this stretch of the road. Second is that the stretch of Port Rd between former Tanjong Berlayer camp and carpark B is out-of-bound to all heavy vehicles including 12m buses, there are signs there displaying this. Third is that the buses have to do a 3-point turn in carpark B and based on my observation, there is insufficient space for a 12m bus to do a 3-point turn there.
So far, in Labrador park, there is only one poster informing the public of the new service at the bus stop near carpark A, the poster is pasted on a NParks notice board. There is no poster at carpark B.
Bus stop yellow-box marking had been done on the road surface at the bus stop near carpark A. The marking is: "For SBS T buses only". The bus stop marking is about the length of a Dennis Dart. The bus stop near carpark A is at the roundabout, with no bus stop pole. As for the location of the bus stop at carpark B, there is nothing there presently to identify where it will be.
Also, so far there is no bus stop poles after the food centre (towards the park) and opposite Singapore Institute of Marketing (towards HarbourFront). These two are the additional bus stops along Labrador Villa Rd beside the two at Labrador park.
Em... It runs on Weekend... Sv 92 Dart can be deployedOriginally posted by Volvo Olympian:Then how come? Dennis Dart only got 10 buses..For 42 and 92
Hey... You should be happy that they are providing the serviceOriginally posted by TIB1133B:Parks 408 is like the Citybuzz scheme. The fare is so ex. Even 401 charges normal trunk fares.![]()
From BDK to certain areas of ECP, I doubt anyone will cross into the third fare zone.Originally posted by sbst275:Hey... You should be happy that they are providing the service
Hey... You can't compare apple with oranges... It is difficult to serve Labordor Pk using main fleet buses...Originally posted by TIB1133B:From BDK to certain areas of ECP, I doubt anyone will cross into the third fare zone.
Look no further than here for Svc 401 fare structure. From BDK to COsta Sands, it's still 83c. 408 route details are not out yet.Originally posted by sbst275:Hey... You can't compare apple with oranges... It is difficult to serve Labordor Pk using main fleet buses...
And, BDK to ECP? Are you sure? All are $1.03... Go see Sv 30, 401
They are out already...Originally posted by SBS9611D:Look no further than here for Svc 401 fare structure. From BDK to COsta Sands, it's still 83c. 408 route details are not out yet.
With service 408 having such a short route and long frequency, perhap only 1 bus is needed.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Then how come? Dennis Dart only got 10 buses..For 42 and 92
As of yesterday (07 March), nothing had been done to the berths. Most likely (unless there's a reshuffling) the service will use the vacant berth next to service 65 as the other berths are already in use.Originally posted by sbst275:Hey... We have been neglecting the berth at the int...
Is it ready yet?
Nope... They need not for Sv 274, unlike for Sv 112/ 113 case where they have to share same fare stage for quite many BS... But then, the sv is intended to be runned on Sat/ Sun/ PH niaOriginally posted by PJ_Quek:Suggestion here.
Sv 408 to merge with sv 274. Suggested route as follows:
Bukit Merah Int
( Bukit Merah Central )
Henderson Rd
Depot Rd
Alexandra Rd
Labrador Park
Telok Blangah Rd
Harbour front ( loop )
Telok Blangah Rd
Labrador Park
Alexandra Rd
Depot Rd
Henderson Rd
( Bukit Merah Central )
Bukit Merah Int
It may increase the bus fare for the residents in Depot Rd who use sv 274 to get to Bukit Merah Int from Depot Rd and vice versa. However, it gives an alternative for Depot Rd residents to get to MRT ( Harbour Front ), besides current sv 195 ( Tiong Bahru and Queenstown ).
The merging is only possible if service 408 is a trunk service. I don't think a merger of special and trunk/feeder services is allowable.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:Suggestion here.
