yes sbst should extend service 64 to eunos interchangeOriginally posted by ah-soh:just wonder why sbs transit not extending service 64 to eunos interchange n instead let the service terminating at sims place instead?
Eunos interchange still has space.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:I actually agree with 64 extend to Eunos Int.But i think the berths at Eunos int izzit full? But anyway Service 64 Shold extend there.
P.S anyone want to feedback to SBST?
no wonder it loops at mei ling street.Originally posted by sbst275:Sv 64 seves those aging estates... Like Queenstown, those that were built mostly bef Independence
The rt itself at Queenstown has been there as early as late 70's, I think...Originally posted by ah-soh:no wonder it loops at mei ling street.
how about having a feeder service to Sims Dr and Sims Place and have it numbered service 360Originally posted by tranquilice:Eunos interchange still has space.
If service 64 is to be amended to Eunos, then most probably it has to skip Sims Dr and Sims Place, then residents there will have no bus services on Sundays and public holidays!![]()
There is sv125 also. rem sv64 is a loop svc and i tink tt SBST does not want to cause driver fatigue but this might change.Originally posted by 5454:how about having a feeder service to Sims Dr and Sims Place and have it numbered service 360
SBST will not introduce feeder services anymore.Originally posted by 5454:how about having a feeder service to Sims Dr and Sims Place and have it numbered service 360

Service 64 only has 2 perm tridents.Originally posted by iveco:Sims Place Terminal should be returned to EUN route group. Then 147 can take over the Tridents from 64.
If 64 returns to EUN route group, it will be deployed from AMDEP. Don't expect it to take the Tridents along. Instead, 2 VO3Xes from 147 can take their place.Originally posted by tranquilice:Service 64 only has 2 perm tridents.
Do you know why Sv 64 has Tridents? Because of the high rate of elderly taking this sv...Originally posted by TIB1133B:If 64 returns to EUN route group, it will be deployed from AMDEP. Don't expect it to take the Tridents along. Instead, 2 VO3Xes from 147 can take their place.
147 passes through Chinatown, Redhill and Queenstown. It needs low-floor buses too.Originally posted by sbst275:Do you know why Sv 64 has Tridents? Because of the high rate of elderly taking this sv...
Like this, then SBS can please everyone ar?Originally posted by TIB1133B:147 passes through Chinatown, Redhill and Queenstown. It needs low-floor buses too.
Very hard, unless SBST sell away all their VO2Xs and VO3Xs, buy all DTs and VSOs.Originally posted by sbst275:Like this, then SBS can please everyone ar?
Which one is that? Surely not 9675. I've taken that one on 147 last year, but it has since been redeployed.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:Very hard, unless SBST sell away all their VO2Xs and VO3Xs, buy all DTs and VSOs.
147 have only one DT, correct me if I am wrong. The problem with DT is that, their staircase doesn't face directly to the exit, thus giving upper deck passengers a little hard time to get down during peak hour crowded lower deck situation.
Currently there is no perm Tridents on service 147. Its former Trident 9675 had gone over to service 62.Originally posted by PJ_Quek:147 have only one DT, correct me if I am wrong. Actually, feeder buses are the only type of bus services SBST is introducing right now, although in a modified kind of way. Such services include Services 3, 38, 60 and 181. No more trunk services; all new and future SBST services will all be feeders. All the trunk services are being replaced by the MRT.Originally posted by tranquilice:SBST will not introduce feeder services anymore. If service 64 was amended, Sims Dr/Place residents would lose their direct links to many places esp. the city area.
What I mean is that SBST will not introduce feeder services that charge a flat fare, but introduce short trunk services charging by fare stages.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Actually, feeder buses are the only type of bus services SBST is introducing right now, although in a modified kind of way. Yes... It is the last major batch that is of the 9.4 lit... KMB's 25 new purchase is of 9 litOriginally posted by iveco:Which one is that? Surely not 9675. I've taken that one on 147 last year, but it has since been redeployed.
Will the B9TLs be low-floor and wheelchair accessible ones?
Nope... That means everywhere can have MRT sv?
