Eh, Westpoint have been operating these type of buses for a long time oreadi. BTW for the bus tt u saw, does it have a pair of entrance & exit doors or juz an entrance door only? coz Airbus have only a set of doors.Originally posted by SBS3688Y:I saw a WestPoint bus (PA 908 L) at Tampines today at ard noon. PA 908L was once operated by ComfortDelgro on the Turf City shuttle if I remember correctly.Originally posted by SBS3688Y:I saw a WestPoint bus (PA 908 L) at Tampines today at ard noon. This bus looks identical to the former Airbus. Could the previous owner of this bus been ComfortDelgro??
Hmm....no wonder the sentosa buses were replacing the airbuses for turf city. The seats were of a intercity coach comfort....Is there any of them plying around in waves scheme for the Tfc shuttle?Originally posted by SBS9818A:PA 908L was once operated by ComfortDelgro on the Turf City shuttle if I remember correctly.
I supppose its not economical to repaint to SBST livery at the moment, as the current wave livery are still in relatively good condition. Perhaps these buses may be repainted when its selected for full-bodied ads.Originally posted by TIB1133B:Some of the former Jurong Island buses on 502 are still in the wave pattern livery despite having reverted back to SBS rego. Why is it so?

Is that the reason why the Scanias are still in old livery? They may be leaving soon, but they are certainly newer than the Mk IIs, some of which are already repainted.Originally posted by SBS3688Y:I supppose its not economical to repaint to SBST livery at the moment, as the current wave livery are still in relatively good condition. Also, SBST might be planning to obtain a private tender in the future, and these buses may be converted back to PA plates without repainting back to the wave livery.

Waste of resources repainting the Mk IIs if they are going to be the first to go. Same for the LO2Xes (a minority of them were refurbished and repainted too). It seems like the CRBs and a tiny number of Mk IIs are the only unpainted buses around (the SBSL-liveried Mercs excepted). And to think the CRBs came after the Mk IIs. Being newer, surely they deserve better.Originally posted by ^tamago^:yes.
they will leave from 2006, wheras the Mk II's will start retiring from this year.
Eh..? LO2Axle got repainted meh?...Some older 0405Hispano uses old livery..but the funny thing was TIB425 repainted and TIB426 are not.Originally posted by iveco:Waste of resources repainting the Mk IIs if they are going to be the first to go. A side note, almost all the Habit bendies (including 1133 on 106) are still using Tibs paint work.
Refurbished - Yes. Repainted - No.Originally posted by iveco:Waste of resources repainting the Mk IIs if they are going to be the first to go.
