Did anyone had experience a faulty ride in the VSO?

I experience one.....onboard Sv 28. The bus could not go fast, aircon on/off, jerking forward and backward until a group of aunties thought they were in for a simulated roller-coaster ride.
The best part, it didn't break down....for sure its a motion simulator.... -

I once took 9842D on 161. Bus could not switch to 2nd gear, and it din help that the driver is in a rush. I got down at Compass Point, so I have no idea how it survived the expressway.

Oh dear, that will be unfortunate....can't imagine the bus started rolling backwards!! 9814 was faulty too the last time i took it

It won't. Problem lies with gearbox, I suppose. Gear stuch is not an uncommon problem. Last week, took 505L on 86. Same prob, and worse, the MB0405 is very noisy in 1st gear. So, it was like 80db in the bus. Once again, I have no idea how it survived TPE. MB0405s are particularly susceptible to this problem. In this situation, you can say that.....the brakes are a little hard though! Of all the VSO's had new Volgren badges, I spotted one that was carrying a old Volgren badge, equipped with LED displays...couldn't see the rego clearly. Got a blur blur driver drive a 168 vso and then at the BKE the steering wheel come out sia.
