My grandmother lives at Marine Parade, and she said that service 36 is the only bus that brings her to downtown to shop. Ask her to take MRT? No, it is a waste of time. BTW, she aways complains that during the peak hours, the bus was almost full and she must wait for the next one. So, better not divert the route towards Orchard road

Eh, CAIX, u should advice ur Grandma to wait for next sv36 wic should be another 3-4 mins away due to heavy road traffic & passenger loading during peak hrs. This is not true on weekends if you wait for Service 36 in the city. After missing 1 bus, i waited for 14-15 mins for another bus and it would normally be as crowded.

S36 seriously needs an increase of fleet, it currently only has 14 buses total (and all 14 only do 36 during peak hrs).

The bus company should look into the matter if the demand of the service is going high. Why not if the bus company can split the bus service?

I think Sv 36 should deploy the long bus during peak hours as a cameo not starting from Changi Airport but from Marine Parade???

Marine Parade Road >> Tomlinson Road >> Marine Parade? then DDs can even be used.. bulk of passengers are from MP to City and vice versa mostly.
