Partly is due to the higher running costOriginally posted by 5454:why is SBST keeping them for so long and not putting them on revenue services![]()
Maybe its because it is the nearest depot to Jurong Island where the buses top up their CNG tanks.Originally posted by SBS9828X:do SLBP have samthing dat other depots dun have 4 it to 'own' those buses
ooooooooo they top up their tanks at JI thats coolOriginally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Maybe its because it is the nearest depot to Jurong Island where the buses top up their CNG tanks.
There is only 1 gas pump in SG - @ Jurong IslandOriginally posted by SBS9828X:ooooooooo they top up their tanks at JI thats cool
Dat means if sbst or smrt are to buy cng buses den dey hv to go there laOriginally posted by sbst275:There is only 1 gas pump in SG - @ Jurong Island
Not necessarily...if SMRT were to buy new cng busesw at a large scale, they would need to build a new depot as their current depots are already overcrowded. So, whilst building this new depot, they could at a CNG bus refuelling facilityOriginally posted by SBS9828X:Dat means if sbst or smrt are to buy cng buses den dey hv to go there la

High time for SBST to build LYBP. BNDEP is a bit cramped.Originally posted by Superbus:The Government has plans to build CNG refuelling points at Loyang and Senoko in the near future.
Yeah, yeah, why do you keep mentioning about LYBP? BNDEP can expand their depot at the field next to them. WHat for go all the way to Loyang just for a parking space?Originally posted by iveco:High time for SBST to build LYBP. BNDEP is a bit cramped.
