Impression : from bad to good

These are the buses that I previously disliked. However, I later changed my impression and found them not bad after all!

- M'sian Dennis Lance; esp when I first saw the PA plated lances dressed in new SMRT livery (but without the logo ;PA plate). at least it looked much more attractive than the old TIBS livery.

- Dennis Tridents : when I saw similar HK buses in the HK bus webpage. also, the SBST livery made the bus looks even more attractive than the old SBS livery

- Volvo MK 2 CAC : I somewhat can't bear to part with these buses after knowing that they are due for retirement soon..I feel a little sad..

Volvo B9TL will replace those service currently served by Volvo Mk 2 in late 2005

Sure meh? 112 113 151 etc is going to use the B9TLs? No way man! At least I guess the B9TLs might go to all depots in SG except SLBP unless it upgrades itself to accept Volvo buses (exclude VO2X, MK4s)

I think the new B9TLs will be deployed on the high demand services, while the fleet on the high demand services will be transferred to the other services.

this is called fleet renewal.

its not something like u need one B9TL to replace one Mk2. its a gradual process..

say a B9TL replaces a VO, a VO replaces a mk4, a mk3 replaces a mk2 that kinda thing.. i'm talking in terms of the fleet for each service.

so DONT expect a B9TL on 32 or 182 either

I guess HGDEP will receive quite a no. of B9TLs, I am waiting man!!!
