Bus Captains Oops?

Wow, there are some pretty big oops here, no mistaking.
Does this oops count?
There was this 265 BC years ago who drives fast, break hard. The poor MB0405 NAC one day came to the bus-stop heading towards AMK Int. The old BC saw potential passengers too late, and braked damn hard. The poor MB0405 gave up, and the bus stalled, smoke came out!
That was my expression awright!

I feel that SBST & SMRTB should allow new BCs ply on shorter routes (eg feeder svc, svc with low passenger demand) initially. Just imagine; the new BC needs time to adjust to the new working conditions, even though they had completed their orientation courses. They are now alone and working independently..
I won't be surprised if he/she forgot to stop at the next stop when a passenger presses the bell, or forgot to open/close the door. Driving a public bus seems simple. However, when you're really in their position (esp when you're still new), that's a totally different story.
Even new car drivers who had just passed their driving tests and are on the roads might not drive as confidently and well compared a seasoned driver.
Even for me; I was very different and blur when I first stepped into the society to work. Similarly, that's what I generally observed in new army recruits, new colleagues in the workplace, etc. -

The driver of VO 2-axle travelled along Queensway and forgot to turn left into the narrow street of C'Wealth Drive. The driver quickly apologised to all passengers and kept saying sorry repeatedly. The driver got no choice but to bypass C'wealth Dr and continued travelling along the mainroad of Queensway and turned left to C'wealth Ave to continue the journey. -
when the BCs skipped some roads they are supposed to drive to, ie. took a detour, what happens to the passengers who want to alight at the skpped stop? anyone experienced before? one great potential oops is at jalan kayu for 168, 858.. BC may heng heng cheong all the way at TPE without turning up at jalan kayu, passengers who want to alight song liao

By right, pax are not supposed to board and alight along diverted routes unless otherwise stated in notices that are posted up at bus stops regarding the diversion. I was on 463Z (service 133) during the JP Morgan road closure and wanted to alight along Beach Rd outside Shaw Tower but the bus captain refused to stop, saying that it was the traffic inspector (SBST staff in white uniform at the fountain of wealth roundabout) instruction. -
I used to take 185 when it was still under SBST. One finr day. I pressed the bell..THink was 845E. Then the bus driver didnt stop. The bus stop was actualli 1 block away from my block. By the time I told him, the bus was in front of my block liaoz..so I got down from there instead..Save me the walking distance..

last time took 79 BC forgot to let passenger alight at teban area cheong until a traffic light then pax go up to inform the BC. that hapened twice during the journey

Do everyone remember the Nicoll Highway incident?
On the 1st morning(the day after Nicoll Highway collapsed), I was on board a Service 14(a double deck) , happily going to Dover. When the bus passed Jln Sultan, he was supposed to turn in to the road and then ply via Beach Road, instead, he just speed along Victoria Street with many passengers. This is the first mistake.
The second mistake:
He then turned into stamford Rd at the junction between the two roads when there was a huge signboard saying : NO RIGHT TURN. He did not bother, jus turned. As it was after the collapsed, nobody was going anywhere near Nicoll Highway, hence nobody actually complained about it . (Actually, i saved quite some jouney time) -

U-turn and go back, against the flow of traffic direction.
