If service 70 is to be shortened, how about the passengers along Guillemard Rd? All walk to Old Airport Rd and take the trains?Originally posted by iveco:Svc 70 runs from Upp Paya Lebar Rd to Nicoll Hwy. The CCL will be following almost the same path. There is a possibility of Svc 70 being shortened like 81, 82 and 103.
By the way, the non aircon single decks have no TV Mobile.Originally posted by junh:154!!
single decked and no air con??
new ones pls
oh, remove tv mobile to save cost
Like services 2 and 147.Originally posted by iveco:So all the more it should not be touched even when the whole CCL is up and running.
28 originally had 7 VSOs:Originally posted by SBS9828X:28 actually not upgrade lahh cos 28 use to have about 10 VSOshiok man

Majority control of service 143 is under SLBP, that's why there's so many LO3xs on the service. If majority control is under BRAM, we can see more VSOs or VO3xs on the service.Originally posted by Halide:143 trully needs more V03Xs.
Sv. 143 only has 1 full day bus from bram, the remaining 4 are split shift. Not much point in putting VO3X on the service. If SBST wanted to impress HG and SK passengers, Sv. 88 would have gotten perm B10TLs ages ago.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:Look at Svc 88 , they have so many VOs ... trying to impress the Hougang and Sengkang passengers ? They can transferred 3-4 VOs to svc 143 if you ask me.
AMK depot should wake up and start spreading the Volvo buses around, would love to see cameo Mark 4 DM3500 on svc 24, 53, 135 , 155 . Don't you guys agree ?
Yes, of course. I would like to see these happening. But the problem is that AMDEP do not have much B10Ms after last year's transfers. Plus next month 86 136 159 transfers, HGDEP needs B10Ms, AMDEP services with B10Ms in the fleet will be replaced by Mercz initially. It will become rare to see these cameos.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:AMK depot should wake up and start spreading the Volvo buses around, would love to see cameo Mark 4 DM3500 on svc 24, 53, 135 , 155 . 159 is a loop service from TPY. How could it come under HGDEP's responsibility? Unless you are talking about a similar arrangement what exist for Svc 63.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Yes, of course. Charles mentioned to transfer some of 88's VOs to 143, me thinks it isn't a wise move. I think the VOs can go to 22 or 72. Too many LOs in the fleet.
159, when it extended to Sengkang, the 0405 were ditched for spanking new mk4s... later, they were reduced back to the 0405 again........ how come?Originally posted by iveco:159 is a loop service from TPY. Oic , point taken . I keep thinking majority of 143's DD buses are from Braddel. Svc 88 was orginally from Hougang south depot ? HGDEP will need more single decks as all the services being moved to HGDEP utilitze solely single-deck or mostly single-decks, which makes it possible for O405s to move to HGDEP (finally)Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Yes, of course. It seems like SBST is moving services terminating along Northeast corridor to be under HGDEP control. But sv 3 is not involve in the depot transfer exercise. Maybe HGDEP no more space. I am sure 81 is going over to HGDEP.Originally posted by iveco:159 is a loop service from TPY. How could it come under HGDEP's responsibility? Yes, I recall 1981M in the fleet. It was transfered from AMDEP to HGDEP as it was terminating at Sengkang Int. But when 163 was amended to Sengkang Int, 159 became a loop service (maybe Sengkang Int no space), 163 moved to HGDEP and 159 moved back to AMDEP.Originally posted by 105090:159, when it extended to Sengkang, the 0405 were ditched for spanking new mk4s... later, they were reduced back to the 0405 again........ how come?
If 81 goes over, one of the BDK routes should move to BNDEP. Also, 11 & 64 seem likely to be handed to AMDEP-BRAM.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:It seems like SBST is moving services terminating along Northeast corridor to be under HGDEP control. But on the same day 163 was extended to SKG, 27 was extended to HGN. In essence, it was a 1 for 1 swap. Your argument that SKG Int had no space doesn't really hold much water. I think it's more to do with depot arrangements.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Yes, I recall 1981M in the fleet. It was transfered from AMDEP to HGDEP as it was terminating at Sengkang Int. The current Sengkang Int is quite small in fact. Before the NEL Network Rationalisation, with 85, 501, 502, etc, Sengkang is already very cramp. Giving up 159 and 27 from terminating at the interchange was a wise move.Originally posted by iveco:But on the same day 163 was extended to SKG, 27 was extended to HGN. Huh? When 81 joins HGDEP with 86, 136 and 159 (4 svcs), HGDEP already gives up 7 32 66 197 (4 svcs too). 11 and 64 go BRAM/AMDEP, it is only that 64 might lose its entire B10M and Trident fleet. AMDEP is going to be quite empty, so I believe some TPY and some WRI svcs will go full AMDEP, if not AMDEP gains more control of 8 28 31 166 etc.Originally posted by iveco:If 81 goes over, one of the BDK routes should move to BNDEP. By the way, was 111 full HGDEP during pre-NEL days?
What? So there will be a chance to see Scanias on 7 & 197 at last? Remember 32 & 66 were under BNDEP in the past and CRBs were once perm on them.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Huh? Yes, 111 was full HGDEP that time. When amended, it is now full ARBP control.
