Speculation of the 150 new Volvo DD buses

From some rumours , SLdepot will receive some VO 3 axles , not too sure when but could be just before the arrival of the brand new DD buses. My question is Which depot do you think the new DD Buses will base at ? I definately can't see them in one depot.

They can be going around.. Hope they will be based at BBDEP/ARBP and serve CLE routes.

1 thing for sure.. 100% HGDEP will get a number of the new B9TLs and expect them on routes like 147. On the other hand, Services like 88 will also get itz fair share of B9TLs on them.

Until the buses hit the roads...all speculation is really useless and waste of time...
And dun say which depot deserves tis buses becoz of dunno watever reasons (e.g. MK III or DAFs or wat nots)...lar...the planners in SBSTransit would know wat to do...Buses are Buses in the eyes of the planners...they are for generating revenue not for beautifying some neighbourhood. -
I hope SBST deploys some of this new buses on service 54.

and iveco: the lion's share of the B9s is definitely not bbdep. u tell me which model sbst purchased had its lion share initially at bbdep? -

I mean gradually redistribute such that CLE gets the lion's share. Don't forget BBDEP currently has the lion's share of Mk IIIs after much redistribution. the deployment of B9TL's in Clementi really has got no effect on 189's fleet since 189 is not under SBST. but luckily, there are no DAF's on 189 for a long time and its perm fleet is really O.405 OAC's + CAC's + 1 O.405 Volgren 966X. even the Hino Volgrens disappeared.Originally posted by iveco:Whatever the case, I hope the lion's share will be stationed at BBDEP/ARBP. expect some re-shuffling of services between depots before the B9TL's come in. i'm expecting svc 7 to go to bndep and bndep will use new B9TL's on svc 7. -
