Yah... The recent 25 orders are firm orders...Originally posted by andrewcklam:There're currently 2 B9TLs here in KMB, one bodied by Wright (LU3739), and another Enviro 500 (LU3721). The previous one (LJ7006) which finished road test and return to Volvo, has a Volgren body. Further orders of KMB's B9TL will solely use Wright's product. So...it seems not possible to have Delgro body to be fitted in B9TL in forseeable future.
How does the interior looks like? Engine sound same as old VSO?Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:Just took the bus today, she is a beauty from inside and outside , simply love it .. pity the driver didn't drove fast enough for me to judge her acceleration speed. Some monkeys came aboard and make a lot of noises but that didn't spoil my beautiful bus ride.![]()

Blue seats , blue interior .... different from the normal VSO bus. The seats are like SMRT's habit bus's seats but they are more comfortable. Engine is the same as VSO.Originally posted by Volvo_Volgren:How does the interior looks like? Engine sound same as old VSO?

hey andrew.. as u took the photo at hougang, what time was it, and what day? cos m going to board this 9889 one day and knowing the departure time will be a great help
Svc 196 B10TLs are likely to be crossover from Citybuzz. I have seen 9803 in the mornings at the junction of Dover and Clementi Rds headed for Bedok. Someone posted on another thread that Svc 14 may have B10TL cameos too.Originally posted by iamgoondu:I believe I took the new bus on SBST 196 on Thursday morning. It is pretty comfortable for one having long legs, with a slanted seat and bigger leg room. Moreover, it has no steps at boarding and alighting.
Wish more of these buses on dd buses plying along Cwealth Ave (SBST 196, 198, 147, 111) or Holland Rd (SBST 7 and 165).
Did SBST purchase single deck air con buses as well? I hate those single deck buses with cramped seats. My knee caps suffer. Hope they could replace those single deck buses as well.
Yes, service 14 has Cameo VSOs before, as long as the DD service is based at Bndepot, the service will get cameo vso at least once.Originally posted by iveco:Svc 196 B10TLs are likely to be crossover from Citybuzz. I think it was on 187? or 178Originally posted by iveco:One of the SMRT Scania buses you photographed has a weird EDS. I wonder if anyone has seen it before. If you don't mind, could I show them the photo?
It looks as if this photo was taken near Jurong Point. Which service could this bus have been deployed on?
wow.....there's no route #239?Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:I think it was on 187? or 178

Haha....I met Anthony Lui during my trip to Hong Kong to collect more bus photos...He comented that 9889U's description really sounded like it was very "Enviro" when we were eating dinner at a restraunt.Too bad i've lost contact with him.Originally posted by iveco:9810 has some photos of the interior of SBS9889. He should give them to Anthony Lui. The latter will certainly be pleased. I would have contributed Merc O405NH photos from Perth if I had a camera.
He has a website with sub-pages dedicated to different manufacturers. One of the most comprehensive bus pages around. Is the email address still in use? If it is, you can still contact him.Originally posted by SBS9810X:Haha....I met Anthony Lui during my trip to Hong Kong to collect more bus photos...He comented that 9889U's description really sounded like it was very "Enviro" when we were eating dinner at a restraunt.Too bad i've lost contact with him.![]()
