I would prefer an equal number of these three.Alexander is ALX500,mind you.The Wright Ecplise Gemini is the Volvo B7TL.You don't want Volvo B7TLs on Singapore rts eh
The B10TL version is called the Wright Explorer.I don't know about the B9TL version,but chances are that it will be also the Explorer.Did you know that Volvo is calling the B9TL Volvo Olympian?That stunned me at first,but check volvo's page. 
EDIT: Note that the present Volvo Olympians(not B9TLs) are using Alexander Royale Bodywork. -

I'll say high time get an integraly-constructed 'original' bus like those from
M.A.N. or Setra etc. Enough of sub-standard 3rd party bodies which tend to not come from the maker of the bus-chassi !
I'll prefer Mercedes-Benz but as i don't think they currently produce any double-decker city-bus (i mean 'original' type not chassi only) then my choice goes to the makes above, as i've found their overall level of passenger comfort appeal & quality impressive too.
Besides double-deckers, single-deckers both rigid & articulated still do continue to play necessary roles in public transport here due to their superior passenger: driver ratio (for articulated buses), more cost effectiveness (since not every route has enough passenger volume to justify double-deckers/articulated ones) etc.
With private cars so expensive in Singapore, the least the Government can do is to 'compensate' people by providing them the finest buses money can buy BUT absorbing much of the costs such that people only need to pay 'token' amounts to use them as public transport here.
There's certainly NO room in Singapore anymore for lousy buses & logically only the finest buses deserve a place on this increasingly congested island. -
