Most comfortable seating locations on different bus types ?

1. Rear engine bus (both rigid & articulated); around 1 m from front axle
2. Front engine bus; around 0.5 m from rear axle
3. Mid engine bus; around 0.5 m behind rear axle towards end of bus
4. Mid engine articulated bus; difficult to decide here ! but i'll settle for
within 0.5 m from turntable !
5. Older bus with seperate engines for vehicle & air-con, also difficult to decide
but i'll settle for middle spot !
I note that generally the overhead mounted air-con units often used nowadays tend to be less noisy & vibrasive than the olden time 'donkey' engines mounted underneath the floorboard. Best if they positioned it @ the middle of bus so then there's some 'quiet' spot @ the front end in a modern rear engine bus !
In my perception of comfort, i take into account suspension ride comfort besides the noise vibration harshness levels & from personal experiences find the above locations 'best compromise' seating / standing locations on a bus for
travelling comfort. In front engine or mid engine buses, the suspension ride comfort @ the rear section especially @ the end can be terrible, whereby you get hard spine-jarring rides easily even when going over bumps @ low speed.
Any experiences different from mine or better locations i'm also interested to know ! -

1. the 1st 3 rows from the front although i usually take the 1st row, directly behind driver where i get view but more importantly to me lowest NVH (noise vibration harshness) levels in such an entire bus !
2. 0.5m from rear axle means the region not more 0.5m around the rear axle as if you sit too far back, likely becomes too hard & bouncy ride.
3. around there i find offers best trade-off as as passenger comfort goes.
