Hmmm.....It's just what most of us would expect from BNDEP buses.Originally posted by hseochin:This bus using Scania L94 chassis with Volgren body ?
Don't know if anyone else noticed, when i last took rides on this 2888 months ago, the bodywork seems sagging down @ the centre of it's length !
I noted quite a big gap (min. 1 inch !) between window frame & bodywork panel @ the centre on the right side ! Never seen this before on any other bus or coach & it was somewhat vibrasive & making louder than 'normal' squeaking noises from there ! Notable too was the boat rocking sensation from left to right many times when stationary which i suspect due to suspension momentarily releasing too air on 1 bellow then followed by more air pumped in compensate & when overdone the vehicle rocks to the right etc. !
Any kneeling function on this unit ?? Whether or not if so, they need to do some maintenence work on the suspension !

I hope SBST goes siao and deploy it on 196.(Keeps Fingers Crossed)Originally posted by iveco:I wonder if 2888 will ever make a surprise appearance on any of the East-West routes anytime soon.![]()
No, let it serve 14. At least I can have a chance to board it from my doorstep.Originally posted by SBS9810X:I hope SBST goes siao and deploy it on 196.(Keeps Fingers Crossed)![]()
As long as SBST deploys it on any service that come to the West, I will be happy.Originally posted by SBS9810X:I hope SBST goes siao and deploy it on 196.(Keeps Fingers Crossed)![]()

SBS9888Y: HG 87 > HG 502 > HG 80 > HG 154 > BRAM 154Originally posted by 105090:was it 1688 or 2888 that made an appearence on 36?
and what about 85? used to have 2888 before being withdrawn.
concept buses are subjected to service rt hopping.
sbs9888 : 87 >> 502 >>154
sbs997 :76 >>107 >> (one more service)>> 62
sbs998 : 290 >>18
sbs999 : 195 >>18
should return to sv36 for CGA passengers...Originally posted by SBS9810X:I hope SBST goes siao and deploy it on 196.(Keeps Fingers Crossed)![]()
Svc 7 was never under BNDEP even though it starts its run from BDK. HGDEP has part control over the BDK route group and deploys buses to Svcs 7, 32, 66 and 197. Since 2888 was a demo built at HGDEP, it is only natural that it would be deployed on a HGDEP service first. In years to come, 2888 and 1688 (ex-BN 36) would swap depots.Originally posted by SBS9828X:Why does 2888t make debut on 7? any special reasons or just BNDEP?
