The whole bus is slightly crowded and suddenly , at the 3rd bus stop towards CCK , someone bought the small little bird (dunno what is it called) and it's quite irritating , chirp very loudly.... and i felt more irritating becos i sit behind the person , a lot of the passengers stare at the person and the person just smile...
luckily the person alighted at the (opp Westwood Sec) Bus stop.. relief aft that 
BTW , i thot no pets are allowed in the bus?
I think small pets are allowed as long as they are properly caged up but of coz not other bigger pets like dogs (unless those guiding the handicapped)...sometimes, BC also close one eye oso coz don't wish to create trouble

one guy raised his voice to bc at the busstop outside TMJC. Then the guy go down and bought something and took the bus again.
I also got one unusual happening which happened to me
I was from tekka area there and took 88 to get home. Night time i get mk4 DM and sat near the middle of the bus beside the rear exit there. The bc drove fast and conered at the junction near the UMCI building there. i asleep and bc coner i 'got up of my seat' and almost fall to the floor. wah paiseh sia. Saw several ppl giggling. -

Talking about animals on buses, I remembered some years ago when I saw a family of Malay people with a cage on board a bus (can't remember which route, but I think it was either route 969 or 965), and inside the cage was a small kitten.
And I have brought animals up onto the bus before - years ago when I bought a hamster at a pet shop in Yishun. I took a route 859 bus back to my home in Sembawang, and the driver seemed to be making some glances at me every now and then (I was seated at the front), seemingly wanting to make sure my hamster doesn't... ahem... you know, decides to turn into an escape artist while on board a bus. -

The first time I've seen this, not sure whether it's unusual though.
Today, at around 4pm onwards, at BNL at the turn between Berth 7 (174, etc) & Berth 8 (179, 180, etc), 2 SBST green men were standing there. Whenever a bus came, they would raise a speed gun radar thing and aim at the bus. It was very obvious. It led to all the buses driving very slowly when approaching that turn! All the buses coasted at about 5km/h when at the turn... the SBST guys even aimed at an SMRT WA Scania which ignored it and sped through the turn... There was also one of the pro 179 drivers (the 19min record guy) on 242 x-over. When he left the 242 berth, he accelerated very fast, but once he saw the guys raising the gun, he quickly braked and coasted slowly past the men.
I think it's useless... If they really wanted to catch drivers speeding in the interchange, they shouldn't make it too obvious... Moreover, they seemed too friendly... When the buses drove past them, most of the drivers smiled and waved at the green men... -
The 2 green men are actually the routemasters of Boon Lay Int. They're not trying to catch the BCs speeding but rather, to make everyone slow down instead. They did that once in a while at the old int too, but more frequently now because of the recent streak of accidents. In case you didn't notice, the security guard or 1 of the green men will usually stand at the alighting area & warn the BCs

Er...That will not cause any inconvenience to any pax on board the bus. It is dead.
And regarding the French kissing on the bus, well, u can say, teenagers and love are getting younger! No more old days dating like 1970s, have to even kiss secretly! Now, u see poly couples kissing every where, even on a bus!

I feel they should be more reserved on a public transport. Last Wednesday (1 Nov), I sat on a TIB744U bus on 961. One of the passengers pointed out that there is a leakage of air-con, so he told the BC to inform about the leakage of the aircon first before sitting on another seat. The BC took some newspapers to wipe the aircon vents as well as the seats (that were being wet due to the leakage of aircon).

Around 4 months ago I was going home to Bukit Batok via Bukit Timah by 174 when I smell burning smoke at the back, then everyone look back, there are grey smoke coming out of the engines and someone shouted at the bus driver, so he stop at the nearest bus stop to let us off and give us complimentary ticket so we can squeeze in the next 174
