Sound of the gearbox or tyre of a Service 22 permanent (suspected to be SBS 0970B or SBS 0983P), whenever it acclerate, got give out a very loud and irritating sound. Reminds me of previously permanent on Green plate of Service 225 SBS 3685E having this very loud sound when it accelerates.

These 2 buses very easy to identify. Lemsip ad is SBS983P. Driver of TIB474Z which is cameoing on 911 today just scolded the students in the bus for not moving to the back of the bus, clogging up the first half and leaving the back empty

just now i was onboard svc 965, there is this old lady who sat beside me asked me if this bus was 969 to tampines, i reply no, this bus is 965. the old lady immediately alight at the next bus stop

amdep only have 2 MK IV DM with Voith which are SBS891X and SBS903X. So coincidence they cameoed 22? I guessed it must be 1 of the permers.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:they should be VOITH buses -
I saw some puffs of smoke billowing out of the front left hand side of the tyre of the SMRT bus TIB 0532P on Service 67. The rain was so big at that time.
What had happened? -
Boarded SBS 105 H on 57. My fellow classmate dumped $1 into coinbox and i saw driver issuing two concession 55 cent tickets

however SMRT buses are newer and much better than SBST buses... its only the BC factor... SMRT BC are rather hectic and reckless in driving standards -

Just now I was on a bus, on a feeder service. When I saw a passenger come up and tap her card, it gave out an unusual two beeps instead of five. She is using a concession card.
Anyone knows why this happened? I remember hearing them saying things such as 'card got problem' and 'just put coins into the coin box will do.'. -

I wonder how BC can determind how many coin was insert to the coin box? How they know whether the passenger had paid the correct amount? -

That is why you are advised to state your fare when paying cash. It saves time from counting the coins. Some BCs will simply ask how much you put in. At the bottom of the farebox window, the gap between the screen and the trap door is just wide enough for the coins to allow them to spread out in a line. It takes experience to count the fare quickly and correctly. Now with EZ-Link is not so bad. Last time in the OTS era, boarding a bus could take a while..

The bus has a high frequency, and very high pitch noise ringing throughout the whole journey. The bus captain either did not hear it because he was quite old or because he does not care. -

Just now I was on a Service 18 cameo bus SBS 0064S. The bus in front of me was SBS 2717D of Service 69. When both buses arrived outside the Post Office (the last stop before heading for the interchange), there was quite some delay for both of the buses. The BC on my bus horned the bus in front, the the bus reversed. When I turned to look at what happened to SBS 2717D, guess what I saw?
A ruckus between two passengers and the BC!
Wow, I almost had a close shave. It is because I was smart. I chose to take buses I never took before, not buses I had gotten onto before. This should be thanks to a USSW (Uninterrupted Sustained Silent Writing, similar to the diary/journal you had written before) I wrote last Wednesday, where I was being asked in an entry whether I chose to be smart or lucky. I wrote that I chose to be smart and here it goes, luckiness eventually. -

theres always this old lady that frequents on 975 who will come up scold the driver so that she can get a free ride... always board at near cck stn and get off after neo tiew road in lim chu kang... strange eh? and cheapo...
