1. TIB 0779U made three crazy rounds about the bus park at Bedok North Bus Interchange just now due to the lack of parking. Worse still, the bus mounted kerb when it finally came out of the bus park! I saw it at about 1358hrs at Bedok North Bus Interchange.
2. Two unusual occurences on SBS 2990E.
1. A big family of Malays (about 10 of them) boarded the bus just before it was about to turn out of the bus stop and onto Bedok Reservior Road. They were quite noisy and blocking the passageways which attracted not only my attention, but also other people's attention.
2. The engine of the bus suddenly went dead before it was turning out of the bus stop opposite Block 745 of Bedok Reservior Road. Anxious of getting the breakdown ticket, I made quite a scene by running from the middle of the bus to the front to see what happened. But the BC managed to restart the engine soon after.
2.1. the biggest group wins.
2.2. wow a lot of breakdowns at the driving centres then. -

Please do not attempt this dangerous act which I witnessed just now.
I saw a boy alighting from SBS 9348P on Service 69. Apparently he was too fast; he did not manage to successfully tap his card. He wanted to go back in, but he was caught in between the doors. Worse still, without the BC's knowledge, he drove off, but managed to stop a few metres later to allow the boy to tap his card.
I was not only the one who was appaled at this scene, a couple sitting beside me was also shocked to see this sight. I would feel it was quite dangerous. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation properly? -

TIB431Y on 961 has no emergency exit doors! This is the first im seeing a Hispano Merc rigid that has no emergency doors! Apparently , the door is removed and changed into a wall. Some parts of the wall near the emergency exit door is brand new and shiny. Windows gasket is also new too. Btw, the bus has emergency exit windows and hammer instead.

Two unusual happenings on the bus today:
1. I just got onto TIB 0944J on Service 67. Then there was another passenger who got up on the same bus. Guess what happened next?
The bus driver punched (not too hard nor too soft) the man's elbow (that man who got up the bus behind me). Then he turned around and thought I comitted the act, but I denied. Then he said, "You'll be my witness arh, which school you come from? Arh, CENSORED Secondary School. I hold you as witness arh..." After that, the bus driver punched him again and then they settled down to have a friendly talk in Malay.
2. I was on board SBS 3721J on Service 225W. The bus arrived outside Yu Neng Primary School and some students got onto the bus. Little did anyone know that the BC closed the doors without knowing that one boy was trying to 'attack' another student and his hand almost got caught between the exit doors. His friends (and me) were surprised, and the 'victim' said that he felt something rubbery closing on his wrist (not the exact statement that he said). -

Apparently common sense would tell you that any vehicle would tilt when driving round a bend

Today, I saw the old BC driving SBS 3863H on svc 242 poured water using his water bottle on the pedals. I guess it is too hot as the area of the pedal and pedal itself had been replaced with the steel sheet without the carpet.

However, unknown to the BC's knowledge, the doors suddenly closed and his hand got stucked in between the doors. Some people, including me, shouted at the BC to open the doors.
The BC opened the doors. When the man walked past the entrance door, the BC came out and made a scene, probably to scold him (speaking in Malay) that it was dangerous to retrieve belongings when the door was to close.
The whole incident resulted in a minor traffic jam involving two buses.
[*] I was on board SBS 7413Y on Townlink 222 (because I wanted to try and joyride on a rare cameo).- [*] What I noticed was that the BC was kind-he greeted almost every passenger who boarded the bus. He even spoke in a courteous tone when he was about to say goodbye to a old woman alighting from the bus.
[*] No PIWs boarded this bus throughout the journey.
[*] At the bus stop opposite the Block 85 market and food centre at Bedok North Road, everyone except me got off from the bus, and I was the only passenger alone all the way to Bedok Interchange. -

for the second one, not only sbst BCs are courteous, smrt BCs are courteous too. few years ago, i boarded a 169 and the BC greeted every single passenger in chinese. say good morning and hello and i believed his picture was shown in the linkway on the walls(escalators) between woodlands mrt to wri.
