If you are tall (especially me), you have be careful and mind your head when boarding and alighting. Just now while I was trying to alight from SBS 0614E on Townlink 291, I accidentally hit my head on the top panel of the alighting bay (near the 'Door Closing' sign).

Agreed. Once I was on TIB754R (WL 966) when a BC helped someone carried a grocery trolley up the bus and did the same thing when the passenger alighted. Another time I was on TIB1222C (WL 900/901) when the BC actually helped an old woman cross the road. They are the famous Foo Brothers. Hard to find drivers that greets you , I encounter one on svc 12. Svc 12's drivers are notoriously known for their rudeness . -

If I'm not wrong, Service 12 BCs are rude mainly because their schedule is packed with so little buses. Especially during Peak Hours. Some can't be blamed for their attitude, especially driving those B9TLs. Plus one trip to and fro takes about 1 hrs 20mins plus? Service 17 has instead 2 perm friendly BCs; they would smile and greet you as you board and alight the bus. And I mean alighting as well. Wonder what happens during Peak Hours.

My ride lasted 1h 15mins+ from Eu Tong Sen St to Pasir Ris Dr 1, is that fast or slow? Not sure whether is that fast or slow when compared to a VO3x on the same service. 
B9TLs drivers on Sv 12 like to speed compared to those driving VO3x on the same service. -

Last time one of the brothers was perm 799L. Another one was a bendy. If I'm not wrong now the elder Foo brother is a spare driver of sorts. well i think they are. i only know that they are 2 person. today i take TIB 1041H which is WLDEP SP on 169 going towards woodlands. i saw him and i smiled because i know. he was saying ni hao to everyone. they're from china i think. this should be the elder one? he drive very steadily, unlike other person who will brake so fast, this one is steady. steadily going fast and when its stopping, it will stop slowly. the brothers are very courteous de, even waits for people who are running towards the bus unlike some others who will speed off.Originally posted by off_service:They are the famous Foo Brothers. Normally the practice is not to stand on the steps but how about sitting on the steps then?
Yesterday I saw two passengers sitting on the steps of the bus while they were on TIB 0748J on Service 969. -

A little bit xtra but its sth about 799L. The whole week it was on 962 and today its on 911. Wonder the BC is on 799L when its on 962

Today I saw one Volvo B9TL on service 147 (forget the rego liao). When the bus stops, the engine or watever thinks makes the 'puss puss..'' sound so loud and the after that when it stops, it continued...
