Not necessary. I just throw them down the toilet bowl then flush and let them drown.Originally posted by dragg:cockroaches can survive by eating anything, including tissues. they are proven to be the fittest.
in order to kill a cockroach you have to physically kill it. if injured it will heal and come out stronger.
Passengers are not allowed to eat on the buses, there are such signs inside the buses telling them not to eat. But the problem is that this isn't strictly enforced. I even saw before bus captains bringing food up the buses to eat while they took their meal breaks.Originally posted by ORIGAMIST:Yes, the bus company should ensure that the bus is clean. However, the passenger does play a part too by not eating and drinking. The newest bus does not have any doesn't mean it will not come. Since people will still eat in the buses. I had posted a thread on people eating in buses and many had actually said I am being petty. Well, this is what happen when you eat in bus. I think the bus company can do that much ...
Bus captains can't every moment ensure this and that. They had to look out for traffic conditions.Originally posted by dreamlander:no one is allowed to eat in the bus by right, the bus driver should ensure that
Today, I saw a student ( in uniform ) with food in his hand when boarding the bus. Guess what, he was even eating on his way up! No the bus captain did not bother.... Well at least, he took along his wrapper and discard it when he alight. The point is, I don't think the Captain bother about it.. Perhaps there are just too many people doing it and he may be tired of it, then perhaps, he couldn't care.. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps .....Originally posted by tranquilice:Bus captains can't every moment ensure this and that. They had to look out for traffic conditions.
Somemore, passengers can hide the food in bags when they board then they go to somewhere in the bus where the bus captain cannot see clearly, then eat!![]()
Yes, i agree with ur say, everyone have the responsible to keep our places clean including when we are boarding the bus. That remind me that i was sitting with a boy prob in his teens. I gave him 2 hard stare when he was eating his old chang kee currypuff & then drinking his softdrink, however, i dun think he feel anything, regardless guilty or embaressed. Wat come straight from my mind, he lack of teaching from the school as well as his own parents.Originally posted by ORIGAMIST:Yes, the bus company should ensure that the bus is clean. I dun agree that all the buses are kept clean, but maybe most or many of the bus still in acceptable condition. There are still some buses that are marked with poor standards. Esp, i notice that the boths sides of the tibs bus, near inner seats, rubbish is easy trapped & accumulated, if the bus drivers do not clear them, it will just ensuring the reproduction of the cockroaches.Originally posted by ZYX2005:this reminds me of my only encounter of a roach on bus in 1986

Well, so if I see a cockroache on the bus, guess I will let it pass. I probably will blame the people who eat in the bus and invite these creature to hitch a ride with us... So for Pete sake, stop eating and littering in the bus !!!
do u mean tt they sweep after every trip, or at the end of their shift? i feel tt they shld clear any rubbish ard, esp the food stuff...after every trip...shldn't take more than 5 mins(at the same time pick up any lost items left by passengers)...dun haf to sweep if it is not neccessary...since their job is quite tiring...Originally posted by carbikebus:FYI,SBST do recruit pest control services to inspect all buses every week and the bus captain had to sweep before and after trips.(First & Last parade duty)
