anyone take the new 147 before ?? maybe not new to some of u

today was my first time taking the new 147 home ... from chinatown
the interior color of the bus is blue and purple with orange pole . the seat was those veri hard type like SMRT bus ... dont really like it ...
the engine was far too noisy .... the bloom bloom sound very lound and irritating
if new type of bus all this model .... wah no peaceful day le -

today i took it.
good luck spotting it. sometimes it does not do any trips for the whole day. fridays and thur are quite dangerous

Hope they get rid of the noisy fan by then !!!!
No use to have say even full engine encapsulation if such noisy fans continue to exist, which tend to emit as much if not more noise than the engine itself !!!!
If the others can get by without such fans, i don't see why their products cannot. today i took the SBS9889U from HG to CLE the 0916 trip.. the interior was very nice and cheery. the back seats also have head rests. very comfortable!aircon was also very cold and it accelerate very fast
i noticed the bus uses the plastic desto for the rear one, isnt it supposed to be an EDS?
also, its alighting door screeches everytime it opens and closes.. not pleasent to hear..

btw, how does the EDS works when BC keys in the code? is it pre-programmed? or it connects to a control centre, means any svcs can be typed on it instantly? -
I guest is that they have recorded all words to display on a paticular number and if the driver press the number "851" and "D2" , then it will display the words for service 851 Direction 2. I am only guessing. Anybody knows more about thisOriginally posted by 105090:i tot it was an EDS last time...
