What do you mean by private buses? Are those free shuttle services to shopping malls counted? If I'm not mistaken, some trips start from bus interchanges.Originally posted by carbikebus:pardon me..And Private buses and some blur sotong drivers who purposely use and parked illegally at Bus stops too. Some even inside Interchange>Special reasons"Oh it's raining and i need to send my old mum inside",Is that reasonable?![]()

true...302 from CCk mayb crowded during peak hrs...but not to the extent of ppl squeezing to the doors, as seen on svc 190, 960 n other svcs from town... moreover as feeder svcs, most areas served by 300 n 302 are within walking dist frm CCK n Yew Tee MRT, so ppl who r unable to get the buses can still walk(v unlikely tt ppl cannot board up the buses)...the journey frm the midpt back to CCK usually onli haf a few 'xiao3 mao1'...the use of bendies is totally wasted...Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:I Hate 300 and 302 use bendies..![]()

who on earth thought of introducing citybuzz svcs? i always see citybuzz VSOs plying w/o a single soul in it even on Sat...besides, who spend $1 travelling dists tt will cost less on normal svcs?Originally posted by ZYX2005:seveal suggestions:
stop operations of citybuzz immediately. withdraw Ct28 immediately as these are loss generating services
i spotted a useful part of service C2 (chinatown) passengers can get a direct and cheaper link from/to chinatown and Marina centre/suntec city.. nrmally, passengers have to take a bus (frm chinatown) to city hall and walk or take a shuttle bus, or transfer to another bus at raffles hotel (costs more 63 + 38 =101 cents) means take C2 is lesser travel time, nice bus, no passengers and a overall savings of 1 centOriginally posted by khk:who on earth thought of introducing citybuzz svcs? i always see citybuzz VSOs plying w/o a single soul in it even on Sat...besides, who spend $1 travelling dists tt will cost less on normal svcs?

the GWC shuttle has freq of 20~30 mins.. for timesake, C2 is faster.. the suntec shuttle, for the trip to suntec, well, the overcrowded bus can makes you mad.. there are 4 or 5 traffic lights, and they are programmed to be red one after another. that wastes timeOriginally posted by iveco:145 to Armenian Church, walk to CTH for shuttle bus: 63c

Well, I don't have to pay a cent if I take the GWC shuttles. In fact, these days when I travel to JP, I take the IMM shuttle from Clementi, then transfer to the Boon Lay bus at IMM. I wonder if more people will do the same now that bus fares have gone up.Originally posted by 105090:the GWC shuttle has freq of 20~30 mins.. for timesake, C2 is faster.. the suntec shuttle, for the trip to suntec, well, the overcrowded bus can makes you mad.. there are 4 or 5 traffic lights, and they are programmed to be red one after another. that wastes time
Travellign long distances with free shuttles is not very practical. Short distance like Prople's Park to Suntec or Clementi to Boon Lay still OK.Originally posted by 105090:Free shuttles around the island: (assume you are at boon lay int)
