which service has Mk2s in Pasir Ris, Tampines and Bedok? I would like to ride on 1...

There are currenly no MK2 on revenue service that is under the control of BNDEP.
If you want to take a MK2, you can try svc 87. Service 32 as well. They have regular MK2...other services...maybe cameos. -

when did serangoon svcs got volvo buses?
where were they from? Also, where were the O405 sent to? one source was 86.. m not sure about the rest..
Sv 101 uses scania initially but changed to MB O405, and finally to the volvos mk3, mk4. where were the scanias from? -

The Scanias on service 101 were from AMDEP. -
HI all.
as CT 8 and CT 18 parks at YCK,Bedok respectively, why are boardings not allowed in the terminal/ interchange? i understand the services served mainly residents who stays along the route of the services, and to zero all transfers, but passengers, especially for CT 18 , at bedok, has many people, and calling at bedok int may result in higher ridership.
I asked a CT 8 BC to let me drop at YCK once. He told me no boardings are allowed, but did not mentioned about alightings.. are BC allowed to drop passengers on "private" stops like that? (ie. alight @ YCK terminal on CT8 ).
i stayed in a place such that i can take 72 direct to YCk ( and take CT8 one big rd tho) or 268 to ave 3 cross road take CT8.. -
some PTC ruling that there be no express services which plies in such a way that the directness of the route may cause it to compete with the MRT and discourage commuters from doing a Bus-MRT transfer. of cos, exceptions are there but it has something to do with tis.Originally posted by Townlink 268:HI all.

if CT8 allows boarding at YCK Ter and CT18 allows boarding at Bedok Int, it may encourage pax going to Chinatown to take these services instead and not take the MRT, which is wat LTA and PTC is trying to discourage. thus, no direct boarding/alighting from/at the terminals/interchanges.
as for these private stops, it is between u and the driver rite? shhh.. -

33, 60, 63, 86, 94, 154
All the above services (except 33) that lost Volvo buses were transferred to AMDEP, while 33 was moved to BNDEP and had 1/2 of its fleet replaced with Scanias (taken from mainly 155, some from 70 231 232). The services that lost Scanias got Merc instead from the Serangoon services.
The NAC Scanias formerly on 101 are currently either SP or doing 94. -

160 and 170 buses has many "special properties" apart from other mk3s. one disappointing feature for me was the descision to repaint the 170 mk3s to new livery.. the old ones look better for 170.. -

Special job ok?! Aft 101, I replaced 3572S as the sole bus. -

Has anyone here sat SBS 2689B of SVC 105? Its a MkIV DM3500 and the engine sounds weird.
