TAP is the official abbreviation for Toa Payoh MRT station. TPY is a common abbreviation given by people for Toa Payoh. (Don't ask why it's not TPY or can it be changed to TPY, cos all the computer systems in SMRT are programmed to TAP, so no point changing for their internal systems. If u refer it to TPY Stn, i dun think anyone would take offence over such a petty issue.)

Tiong Baru is referred to as TIB, but I think the abbreviation TBR sounds better. TIB reminds me of the old Tibs.
Also, does anyone remember 105 having LAs shortly after being extended to Jurong East? I have seen them plying outside my house. Also, the Jurong East extension and integration with 312 didn't take place together, but a month apart. -

as far as i remembered, MB O305 was used on sv104, and LA on sv106.

What is the diff between the N113 chassis and the L113 chassis? Unless I am wrong, they are almost similar.

The similarity is that both have an 11-litre engine. The engine on the N series chassis is mounted transversely (perpendicular to the chassis frame) in a vertical (upright) position. The engine of the L series chassis is mounted longitudinally (parrellel with the chassis frame) with the engine tilted at 30 degrees to the left. BTW, is Jalan Kayu Terminal still exist ? Because from the 2004 onward Street Directory they didn't state the terminal.
