  Actually, having the DTE is a good idea, the line serve the Marina South and Marina East corridoor. Also the casino is right beside the DTE.

  DTE does not serve Marina East. It's Marina Centre if you are referring to Millenia station.

  Phase 4 & 5 just started this year...and the case of the nicoll highway collapse (the station & the tunnel had to be reconstructed)

  Millieum -> Bayfront -> Marina Bay -> Landmark -> Cross St -> Chinatown
  
  with marina bay included... will be a nicer ending.

  The Downtown Extension they say is 2012. The whole Circle line is supposed to finish by 2010. however, the stage 2 and 3 is supposed be ready for opening by 2008. i think stage 2 finishes in 2007. but i think they wont open stage 2 without stage 3 opening also.

  From the looks of it, people will be taking the CCL AFTER 2009, since Stage 1 had been pushed back. And normally, LTA opens Stage 1 of any MRT line first, right? This really sucks.

  if i hav not remembered wrongly, the news had mentioned that they will open stage 2 and 3 in 2008, even though stage 1 cannot open. so the link from bishan to serangoon to paya lebar will be there by 2008(hopefully)

  So CCL stage 1 will open later than stage 2 & 3 ? Will it be later than stage 4 & 5 ? (2010) All because of that Nicoll Highway incident, or else stage 1 will open in 2008. Blame the worker's careless and ignorance.

  If follows this route, there will be a L-shaped tight turn between Marina Bay and Bayfront stations.
