SMRT Buses LCD Display

I noticed that on the 0405s, they have installed a new LCD inside the bus. Some of them are working with messages like "Welcom aboard....." and even "SINGAPORE". As for the 0405Gs the LCDs on the front are moved to the back and the front has a new one in place. But none of them are working. When u press bell oso no indicator whether already pressed or not. Anyone knows what is this and when it will be in use.

Where On hell did SMRT installed LCDs on their Buses ?? Brother.. LED lar.. Not LCD... They did install a not-working LCD on a TIB5xx...or was it TIB8xx. Anyway, the LED is most likely to be a display telling commuters what the next stop is, probably installed in conjunction with the GPS. If you notice, the LED is now displaying SIngapore because the GPS tells us so that we ARE in Singapore. Even I saw some Habits, the 2nd carriage has the LED display board. But, using GPS, hmm... Ooops sorry. GOt mixed up between LCD and LED, but i meant the red display.
