  Still Rd people can laways walk to Joo Chiat Place and take 33. For Bedok Reservoir, there is 15.

  There's services 66 and 67 from Bt Timah to Bedok. Yes, both routes are long but service 48 going to Little India, Rochor, Marine Parade before "terminating at Bedok" is also not a short route.

  Just a thought, Svc 48 can extend to Ponggol via ECP, TPE. Direct link for Ponggol resident to Marine Parade.

  but hey, who knows, punggol to marine parade can actually be a feasible route after all (bypassing sk & hg), in my opinion.

  You mean "long" in which part of the route? Ponggol21 to Marine Parade not "long" if go by expressway. You can reach within 15 to 20 mins by bus. Normally I would prefer to drive by this route using TPE then ECP. Still convenient to drive compare other alternative along Upp Serangoon, Hougang Ave 3 and etc.

  Do you actually mean a new route from Punggol to Marine Parade or extending service 48 to Punggol as in your previous post? To me, the latter is not feasible at all.

  I boarded Service 48 for the first time last night (around 10.20pm) at Holland Village. It was quite a pleasant ride as I was the only passenger on board until Farrer Road. Even then, the loads were very low all the way to Marine Parade. Compared to Service 196 which would have been my usual ride, it was still by far, faster and more enjoyable.

  i took SBS595 on sv 48 today from Newton Circus Upp East Coast Rd
  I had to stand all the way till i reach Parkway Parade! Most passengers on board were students all the way till Marine Parade.

  Can your help by writing to SBST about this service. I hope that they can reduce the frequency to about 8-10 mins as the load is getting better and better

  SBS will moniter the situation and adjust it accodringly.. likesv88 (12-15mins) it improved to 5 mins (peak)

  Long waiting time for service 48 and sometimes it takes about 20 minutes for bus to arrive. WAH!!! might as well put up an approximate arrival time plate to inform the communters so that more convenient for frequent riders.

  SBST recently introduced all this new services eg 34,48 and etc have a higher waiting frequency time and so need to wait longer.
