Along Bt Timah, it will serve 4 schools... But can be linked by extensive bus svs at Bt Timah provided by SBS to Chinese High there -
Service 48 will be good if it serves BT timah Rd all the way till Sixth Ave then to Holland Rd instead of Farrer rd. I am sure more people will take it

I prefer Sixth Ave over Farrer too. Moreover at present we have SBST165 to provide the linkage between Holland and Farrer. there is presently no direct linkage between Bt Timah Rd and Holland Village. been waiting for this for quite long. finally a bus from holland ave to dunearn rd. previously it would have been 106 -> 165 -> 153 for bus pass holders who are lazy to walk up the hill and across the bridge to take 165.Originally posted by iamgoondu:I prefer Sixth Ave over Farrer too. the more useful part of this route is the express link between bugis and marine parade, and less importantly, from these 2 places to holland village. however, i envisage a problem where less ppl might wan to walk down to golden mile complex from bugis to take 48 to marine parade.
i'm expecting mk iii's to dominate tis route, and expecting a joint bbdep/arbp/bndep control. -
