With Sv 48, now is left with 6 Dunearn Rd bus stops, 5 Bt Timah Rd bus stops dominated by SMRT
And Holland Ave, the Holland V bus stop, will have at least 1 SBS sv -

From LTA's website, I downloaded this article which gives the exact height measurement of all overhead structures (up to 2002 I think). All current structures to be built must have a height Clearance of 5.4 metres.

yeah.. the KTM bridge is very low.. i took DDs often and i sometimes scared the roof of the bus will hit the bridge..

Another similar case is Henderson Rd (between Bt Merah Central and Telok Blangah Rd), all the overhead bridges are at least 4.5m but all the SBST services plying that stretch are using SDs. -
Actually, Bedok South Ave 1 is pretty close to Bedok Central and Bedok Interchange. It is about 4 to 5 km away from the town centre. It is, in fact, also served by Bedok feeder service SBST 229. Your examples of Services 112/113 are quite witty. But they are only good for laughs of course. As anyone who is sensible and knows his way around Singapore will know, 112/113 goes around the Hougang neighbourhood only, and does not go anywhere near Tampines (Central), despite the road name. It is also not served by any Tampines feeder.
Road/building names in Singapore often do not make any immediate sense to the onlooker for various (historical)reasons. Hence Holland Road is nowhere near/in the Netherlands, Tampines Home is in Thomson Road *and* West Coast Road, but not Tampines Road..and so on.
It is also true that Bedok South Ave 1 links to East Coast/ECP as my@jas pointed out, but officially the route SBST 48 passes through is still listed as part of Bedok South Ave. 1 -
BDK Sth Ave 1 is a rather long road as it connects BDK central with ECP. Similarly BDK Nth Rd extends to Tampines. As for Svc 229, it does not call at BDK Sth Ave 1, but Ave 3.
Tampines Rd links TAM/PSR with HGN via PLAB rear entrance. Jurong Rd used to extend up to Bt Timah. Woodlands Rd stretches from the Causeway down to BPJ area. Part of AMK Ave 3 belongs to S'goon town. Only a small portion of these roads belong to the area they are named after.
