I hope the service 48 will be extend to Tampines instead of Upper East Coast Terminal. to Bunoa Visita Terminal on this Sunday soon.. haha..Tampines have got "8" for Sv 8, Sv 18, Sv 28, Sv 38, Sv 48, Sv 58 and Sv 68..haha..
In the future, SBST will be get a new service 58 from Tampines Int to Bishan Int..

will SBS deploy double deckers on this service?? can't tell yet..very rarely will they deploy DDs on a newly introduced service. i remembered when SBS introduced svc 88 to ply from toa payoh to pasir ris in 1998, the demand for this new service was so hot that they deploy DDs on it shortly after introduction

Towards Upp East Coast: Along Ophir Rd outside Golden Landmark Hotel (share bus stop with CityBuzz C3). I'm not sure if the buses will call at the defunct bus stop along Ophir Rd opposite Parkview Square, but we will know tomorrow. -
In 1998, there was no service 88 yet. Route details of service 48 is out at transitlink e-guide. Take note that the service will not call at the defunct stop along Rochor Rd outside New 7th Storey Hotel and also the defunct stop along Ophir Rd opposite Parkview Square.

Yes, the only bus stop along Rochor Rd for this service will be outside Fu Lu Shou Complex. The bus stop outside New 7th Storey Hotel was made defunct when NR7 was amended.Originally posted by sbst275:... So call at Fu Lu Shou? -

/me hopes for at least 1 DD on 48. if it comes out it'll really freak me out but pretty unlikely.

No, 36 doesnt go to Prinsep St, though to walk there from YMCA is near enuf I suppose. But the direct link to Selegie and Bt Timah from Marine should be a plus point. -

To 9 Grains: 97, 188, 196, 197, 198 & 963 call at Blk 611 along the AYE. Does that mean they serve CLE West St 1?

I am going to take the new service 48 later to Sim Lim Square. It should be very fast by using ECP.
