Although 48 is a fast service, the waitng time for the bus can be as long as 20 minutes. It might as well put up a plate to show approximate time for the next bus arrival.

looks like 186 is the next guy to be unmarked. the last one i saw was 138's weekends being unmarked for ETA plates.
of cos, on the other end, we have 191 having worse freq recently. -

Service 48 can compete with Service 853 between Marine Parade Rd to Upper East Coast Terminal on Sunday and public holidays.
Service 48 should allow 10 to 12 minutes of waiting time for the next bus. 20 minutes of waiting for the next bus is too long. -

Like any newly introduced service, the demand has to be monitored before adjustments on frequency to tailor the demand can be made. sv68 has the ETA in a laminated paper form @ TAM// also, talking about the TV, yeah.. either missing or spoilt.. also, no1 will want to walk to the other end of the interchange to see the dep. time.. planting then at the berth will be fine.. wont kill SBS.. sv107 (serangoon) used to have the metal plate saying its full/short rt (red n white).. now i dont see it at HG.. 82A also have plate at SG..Originally posted by tranquilice:Passengers can refer to the TV.
