In the past, most of the SBST interchanges had TVs at 2 locations.Originally posted by 105090:also, no1 will want to walk to the other end of the interchange to see the dep. time..
but not svcs 172 & 187 bendies at Boon Lay intOriginally posted by tranquilice:Have you seen services 188 and 963 bendies parked at HarbourFront interchange? When reversing out, it's an easy task for the SC.
It's not really easy over at Boon Lay but in the end it can be done.Originally posted by samtlk:but not svcs 172 & 187 bendies at Boon Lay int
yeah...else they wouldn't put so many bendies on sv187Originally posted by tranquilice:It's not really easy over at Boon Lay but in the end it can be done.
Good for joyrides cause very few passengers.Originally posted by payne:How you all feel about the new service 48?![]()
Bedok Int quite narrow, cramp and crowded in the sv32,33,25,7 standalone berths sector.. sv33 always have difficulties reversing out from the very end berth.. HBF roads wide ma..Originally posted by tranquilice:Have you seen services 188 and 963 bendies parked at HarbourFront interchange? When reversing out, it's an easy task for the SC.

Is it me or do anyone noticed that the bus park area where services 40, 9, 197 and 30 buses park is slightly wider (from the parking lot to the far end) than the area where services 33, 25, 608, 26, 32 and 7 buses park?Originally posted by 105090:Bedok Int quite narrow, cramp and crowded in the sv32,33,25,7 standalone berths sector.. sv33 always have difficulties reversing out from the very end berth.. yeah.. u r rite.. its wider.. dont know why le.. the 33, 25, 608, 26, 32 and 7 area got a small field can extend a bit they dont want. the wide berths is becos, some services use the wider area to get to the saw-tooth berth alighting areas eg854. also used by 33, 25, 608, 26, 32 and 7 to leave bedok int.. thats why wider, else lang ga.Originally posted by tranquilice:Is it me or do anyone noticed that the bus park area where services 40, 9, 197 and 30 buses park is slightly wider (from the parking lot to the far end) than the area where services 33, 25, 608, 26, 32 and 7 buses park?![]()
SBST is not advertising much, some bs dun even have poster!Originally posted by ZYX2005:48 loads are not too good now.
wish SBS cd do some advertising like
take 48 rather than 66. 66 and 48 runs almost paraell for some time along bt timah rd. go take NOW!
or
faster service from west to east. abeit not running fully to AYE but it still goes fast
still SBS ought to extend the service to clementi and cut back to bedok. we have poeple asking if 48 goes bedok (due to its number i think) poor driver has to say no
ZYX
the posters belong to JCDecaux or Adshel or ClearChannel, rented out by LTA.. so SBS dont really get any benefits.. those b/s along defu ave 1 is wasting the posters and stuff.. and its sill continued with the posters..Originally posted by Acx1688:SBST is not advertising much, some bs dun even have poster!
u should look at the loads form holland village on weekday afternoons. i dare say the loads are not too bad... but there was once i chartered the bus from holland village to dunearn rd at 4+pm.Originally posted by ZYX2005:48 loads are not too good now.

Frequency - 6 (Waiting for the bus alone was a killer, literally!)I agree with you as the waiting time is too long for 48. It should fall between 8 to 10 minutes.
Service 854 doesn't enter the interchange from New Upp Changi Rd, it uses Bedok North Ave 1 and Bedok North Dr.Originally posted by 105090:yeah.. u r rite.. its wider.. dont know why le.. the 33, 25, 608, 26, 32 and 7 area got a small field can extend a bit they dont want. the wide berths is becos, some services use the wider area to get to the saw-tooth berth alighting areas eg854. also used by 33, 25, 608, 26, 32 and 7 to leave bedok int.. thats why wider, else lang ga.

I think Acx1688 is referring to the service introduction posters attached to the bus stop poles.Originally posted by 105090:the posters belong to JCDecaux or Adshel or ClearChannel, rented out by LTA.. so SBS dont really get any benefits.. those b/s along defu ave 1 is wasting the posters and stuff.. and its sill continued with the posters..
japalang one la.. the 854 i took last time use the New Upp Changi Rd entrance.. what about sv38 , 196 , 197 ? (bedok south) also use New Upp Changi Rd or Bedok North Drive? i think is mainly for the sv7, 25, 32, 33, 608, 26 buses to exit via bedok nth drive easier..Originally posted by tranquilice:Service 854 doesn't enter the interchange from New Upp Changi Rd, it uses Bedok North Ave 1 and Bedok North Dr.
Service 35 is the only one using that area to get to the saw-tooth berths area.

If 48 were to be extended to BDK, some services may have to make room. 9, 35 or both may have to start from EUN instead since there is excess capacity over there.Originally posted by 105090:![]()

whoa.. i so tired.. never see that clear.. my apologies.. stil, i think sv48 can extend to Bedok via New Upp Changi Rd (same as sv9, 35 from tanah merah mrt till bdk int, not like sv14 beat bush around bedok nth rd)
