VSO on 410?

Today while inside the Thomson Community Club along Upp Thomson Rd, I saw a VSO passing by. It's side desto in fully white. I figure it must be a 410, right? Anyone got any news on this? Would like to get its schedule.

What ???? I'm surprised. Since the withdrawl of LO2x DD, 410 has only SD buses, and all are 0405 fleet. You saw a VSO at Thomson Community Club ??? VSO along Upp Thomson Rd could be cameo on 166. But then again, this bus sighted has a white desto on the side. Only Svc 21 has white desto for the direction towards St Mikes, but it doesn't go anywhere near the said location.

VSO on 410? Is it a perm arrangement? First time a feeder route gets the best or newest buses in the fleet. Even NAC Mk IIs, CRBs and O405s didn't appear on feeder routes until more than 5 years had passed since these vehicles were introduced.

VSO on Svc 410 is not a perm arrangement. There will not be a VSO on 410 tomorrow. -

the buses were deployed last night and this morning due to Bishan Toa Payoh GRC Community Concert Event at Bishan St 23 and Bright Hill Temple Function.
sbst would not anyhow deploy VSOs for nothing.
VSOs were used thanks to the number of the elderly expected to use the service, which in the end quite a number of them used it.
destos used were the appropriate ones, nothing is out of place. -

its the first time these destos were used and i believe amdep had made provision for 410 to get adhoc DDs from 56 (actually 55 also can) when the need arises. -
Actually one Sv. 56 DD (either 9829T or 9668R, I must check timesheet) can crossover with Sv. 410W as its shift ends at 7pm on the dot. Just about when the queues for 410W are the longest.Originally posted by service_238:finally someone is talking sense around here
