NEL even with good loads, but SBS keep saying it keep seeing red.. anyway, NEL is like a One-Direction Peak period svc. its full towards HBF in mornings, kosong towards PGL and the opp during PM peak..
for sv101, it is a life-saver for many pax at HG int at night.. it also links HG st51 ppl to HG green market.. sv115, as actually like a substitute for 113, and ppl just take whichever comes first.
sv191 serves portsdown rd wheres there is a school and a prison, but usually its empty in off-peak
can also suggest to add sv855? it also uses Nissans.. Svcs using Nissan some are regarded as low loads bad frequency services.. sv927 can make it 1 hr/trip also can..
sv343 aka 921 also sad case..
sv317 also bad loads sometimes, but still vital. -
It was like that in the past (early 80s). All the trunks services pass through different parts of Toa Payoh, before going to Braddell Road or Jalan Toa Payoh. i agree...partially....187 is profitable and is usually packed...but it still uses Nissan...........still, 178, 921 are not as profitable and uses Nissan...To the public, the Nissans are old and ugly buses...they hate it.....i heard a person commented at the busstop(upon seeing the Nissan)..." Anyway you should judge a service just by looking at its loadings on a small sector.
And in the future be careful from making words such as " all " {First post}. Whatever the case is, just because a significant no. of nissan buses are used on buses with pathetic loadings doesnt mean that once a bus receives UDs, its loading is pathetic. -

EXCUSE ME, but have you PERSONALLY stationed yourself at Woodlands Int and see for yourself the loads to the zoo? Better still, go to the bus stop opposite Marsiling MRT to see the total number of pax going to the zoo. Yes, 926 may have a terrible frequency but it charges $1 flat fare. All NISSAN buses are now spares, and they are NOT deployed on services based on the demand/frequency whatever. They are there to help cope with SMRT's need for buses. Otherwise, tell me, why, for the love of god, would s187, a very high demand svc, have UDs deployed on them?!
