The very fact is that you need to acquire the bus comapny's permission in order to take photograph of buses in bus interchanges. Is it illegal in the eyes of bus companies to post pictures of bus interchanges??
In the first place, does it belong to the company? Doesn't it belong to LTA?
If its wrong, then probably taking photos of their buses is illegal too i presume...
Anyway, I posted the CCK Int pic so that other "peminat bas" can get an update on the situation on the big change happening there...not everyone are blessed with the opportunity to go around Singapore as they wish....
Bottomline is, issit illegal? -

"Request Permission" means that you must seek written permission before taking photographs of the bus interchanges. Do not take photos without prior permission from the public transport authorities (SBST, SMRT, LTA. etc.)

It is LEGAL to take pictures with prior permission from SBST, SMRT, LTA, etc. If you post your pictures from 15 Nov onwards, on which the new rules stated, the moderators will remove it from your post (15 Nov onwards) without notice.Originally posted by cck_190:Okay, now i want to confirmation. Taking photos outside the bus interchange: Highly unadvisable
The best thing that you should do is to seek permission (either by letter or email) to the respective bus company. They will give you the permission most of the time. Afterwhich you can take photos of buses anywhere( Including bus interchanges) within the stipulated time. Isnt this much better? -

I take photos outside the bus interchange as these areas fall outside of the jurisdiction of the interchange staff. They cannot do anything to you as you're in a public place.
