Thats too bad for you. Maybe you are just not convincing enough, And dont use big caps for no rhyme or reason. It makes reading very difficult. Period.Originally posted by SBS3688Y:Oh is it? Did SBST & SMRTB really given you the approval to photograph ANYWHERE INCL. BUS INTERCHANGES?
I recently wrote in to SBST & SMRTB for permission to photograph buses; BUT BOTH COMPANIES REJECTED MY REQUEST!!!!! (But SMRTB said its ok for me to photograph their buses along public roads). That's what I'm doing now..
Not happy with rules, rules and more rules, you are most welcomed to leave!Originally posted by cck_190:ok...thanks...i'll still remove the photos anyway...too many rules already that i cannot remember all of it...rules,rules,rules![]()
Well, why don't you take care of your own affairs first on whether you have broken the rules here instead of worrying about others?Originally posted by muziq bus:my note...
Rule 4:

...so Volvo Olympian was not in the wrong...
Stupid question....? No mention in the rule whether its illegal or not...ask oso cannot meh?
Ok ok i got it already...no more pictures.Originally posted by Zilchster:I didn't mention it's illegal to take photos. I am not present at all bus interchanges/terminals or MRT Stations and at every corner to monitor wat is going on. I'll leave that to the relevant authorities to police and enforce the regulations. As to whether it's illegal, you decide yourself.
Point taken....sorry once again.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Photos is OK. Do NOT take photos inside bus interchanges. That's all we're asking for.
I only remember the CCK Int was opened in 1989.Originally posted by muziq bus:Point taken....sorry once again.

Yup.. It is mentioned as 'Choa Chu Kang Ter' in the Bus Guide 1989-90 (2nd Edition).Originally posted by muziq bus:Point taken....sorry once again.

Service 179Originally posted by iveco:I think the original 179 was the first to terminate at CCK. It was extended over from BBT.
Original 179: BBT to NBR via Dunearn Rd, Scotts Rd, Orchard Rd, North/South Bridge Rds. Later extended to CCK. Withdrawn in 1988 or 89. Dominated by Leyland Vikings.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Service 179
Choa Chu Kang to Bt Panjang

Some trivia: Svc 190 was originally from BPJ and filtered 3 lanes to exit from PIE to Jln Anak Bukit after merging from BKE. It was the only bus making the right turn from Dunearn to Stevens Rds. The reason being that Bukit Timah Rd near SCGS was DD unsuitable.
SS7.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:I Think there was a SS service from CCK and WDL and was withdrawn in 1996 due to the MRT Extension
SS = Shuttle Service??Originally posted by sinicker:SS7.
SS is shuttle service, which is a temporary bus svc before MRT opens.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:SS = Shuttle Service??
