I recently wrote in to SBST & SMRTB for permission to photograph buses; BUT BOTH COMPANIES REJECTED MY REQUEST!!!!! (But SMRTB said its ok for me to photograph their buses along public roads). That's what I'm doing now.. -

I didn't mention it's illegal to take photos. I am not present at all bus interchanges/terminals or MRT Stations and at every corner to monitor wat is going on. I'll leave that to the relevant authorities to police and enforce the regulations. As to whether it's illegal, you decide yourself. -

I think the original 179 was the first to terminate at CCK. It was extended over from BBT.

Some trivia: Svc 190 was originally from BPJ and filtered 3 lanes to exit from PIE to Jln Anak Bukit after merging from BKE. It was the only bus making the right turn from Dunearn to Stevens Rds. The reason being that Bukit Timah Rd near SCGS was DD unsuitable. -
