Yes n NO....nice if whole body is painted....have u all seen watz happening? Only the old yellow and orange part has been painted over wif red...wat about the yellowy white top part? It was painted white on TIB 972...but wat about now?...itz overall is now seen red and pale yellowy white...very disgusting..
Originally, i thought the paint had begun to wear off...but i saw TIB 633 G n 189 yesterday (4 July 05) more closely to inspect....the red part looked shiny and new...but the top part, u can see traces of the old "ENTRANCE" and "EXIT" sticker...diz means, it has not been painted over....

and yes, some SMRT buses have no racks, same for SBS mk4 3500..
SMRT quite protective bout their guides.. heard they shift BB int rack to face the office
I wonder whether SMRT Buses will they change the brochure colour and design?? it looks rather ugly with the current design. But hey, they took a much shorter time to put guides for "Using your ez-link card correctly.." and "Fare increases" onto the racks, but not for the much needed route guides! sBs_boy should ask the management to wake up, not the people here.
There are more horrible things that only captains will know:
- Staff welfare: break times cut, even the water dispenser that broke down took them months to repair
- Fleet maintenance: bus parts such as reflection mirrors, bumpers need weeks to repair or replace. I see TIB 1111P hissing since May, till now nothing is done
- Fleet cleanliness: ever notice that our Bendies are getting dirtier? Floor has layers of dirt pressed onto it, the white aircon bracket on the Habits getting black . The number of cleaning staff was reduced from 6 to 2.[/b]
