I saw a DD on sv 91 air-con yesterday and DD(volvo) non-aircon today. Why they decided to use DD... When did u first seen it?

indeed, yesterday, 9294K from service 14 cameoed on 91, replacing 7290J. -
ya i saw it quite a few times on 91 n 91A... morning peak.... quite nice to see.

As for the VO2x, it helps AM Peak to be 7-11 mins frequency. But PM peak, horrible waiting time.

As to why, see the MK2, hardly can cope with peak hr demand esp AM peak -

and how come sv182, 192, 252 etc are using mk2s? when a LO2x cant cope, can a mk2 cope better?
sv92 also used extra mk2s during peak hrs.. 92 during off-peak is all used dennis darts?

i think sv252 5 mins freq is to cpmpensate for the mk2s instaed of DD VO2x.. 182 not sure also.. only sv to serve tuas south.

Who says 182 has no DD? It used to have LO2Xes in the past, when it was still Jurong East-Tuas.

as i took sv182 in 3 eras, i found this:
sv182 (JE <-> Tuas) used 3 MB O405 NAC
later, when the NAC were converted, 182 got 3 LO2x. Subsequently, 182 moved to Boon Lay.
then after LO2x disappeared, i been hearing about mk2s on them, including SBS1888A
.
PS: sv183 (Tuas South also used 2 MB O405 NAC, b4 changing to LO2x as well)
does 182 uses VO2x now? -

and sv183 was NAC all along.. until it merged with 182.. i didnt know it used Dennis Darts.. the loads were quite poor for 183 during off-peak. -
182's air-con buses today include 2 Mk II CAC's and 1 O405 CAC. One is a perm PS, the other is 1888A. the O405 is 3786Y. the others are all NAC Mk II's. No VO2x's.
193 also had a O405 CAC today, in addition to its fleet of VO2x's and Mk II's. -
182 used Darts? Aren't the Darts under BBDEP?

It was the only FAC service in Tuas terminal back then.
