Was Chin Lin acquired before or after the merger? Also, if I'm not wrong, Comfort buses now serve Nan Hua Primary. WDL Tpt also includes Trans-United Corp. I still remember TUC having ambitious plans to become the city-state's 3rd bus fleet operator when it was first established.
Anyway, I don't think we can have many bus operators because a smaller city like Perth has only 3 contractors for bus operations. -

u live in perth rite? so keep posting abt perth and dun talk abt sg until u actually noe anyting about it, lah. TUC is no more, AFAIK. their livery is still ard but the company name is not on their buses anymore. WT is still ard. perth have 3 contractors, but look at all the pte operators doing charters. it is like singapore and its pte operators running tour and charter wat. -

the buses quite new, rite?
the EDS is a good thing. the number appears on the side of the road that is near the pedestrian pathway(right side ). this allows us to see the number of the service easily w/o having to peer hard and see the bus service no. if it were on the left side, like all EDS displays now.
was hoping that all new buses wud have the number on the EDS displayed on the right for ease of looking at it. but well, my hopes quite far-fetched? -

Yes, they are already 15 years old, and basically SBS introduced their air-conditioned fleet (albeit alot more downgraded from the coaches they ran) to rival the DAFs. DAF SB 220 LT in Tibs livery in 1994. It was transferred to CSS in 1995 and withdrawn in 2005 as it reaches the end of statuory life of 15 years.
