Like seats in buses, Special sits are allocated, that is in different colour or have a sign around themOriginally posted by sgboy2004:then where the needy pple sit? Their legs wobble, and fall...and then more lawsuits again SMRT....
People will still fight --- to be the first to get on the trains...machiam there is no more trains for the next few days.Originally posted by No_10_Tomas_Rosicky:we've heard complaints about kiasu commuters jostling with one another and dashing into MRT carriages to grab for seats without even bothering to give way to alighting passengers.
Since the SLRT has already removed all its seats, why don't the SMRT and SBS Transit Trains follow suit and remove all its seats from their carriages??
In this way, passengers have nothing to fight for and we don't see any uncourteous behaviour in MRT trains wooahahahahahahaha.
You think people will care? There was even a news report on these type of inconsiderate people a few years ago.Originally posted by SBS9828X:Like seats in buses, Special sits are allocated, that is in different colour or have a sign around them

yeah, like a trial.. a SMRT train (kawasaki) got its seats removed, but became a white elephant as ppl moved to other carriages, so in the end, the seats were restored.. call it a boycott?Originally posted by cck_190:First, i'd just like to day that it is the most RIDICULOUS idea...last, you got your facts wrong:
-SLRT is called SMRT Light Rail
-SMRT Light Rail only removed seats from a FEW of their trains![]()
No use writing it here. Feedback to the rail operators and see what they will answer you.Originally posted by No_10_Tomas_Rosicky:Since the SLRT has already removed all its seats, why don't the SMRT and SBS Transit Trains follow suit and remove all its seats from their carriages??
SPeaking of this, some of the Siemens trains had their blue carriages modified. THere is more standing room around the doors, if you haven't noticed.Originally posted by 105090:yeah, like a trial.. a SMRT train (kawasaki) got its seats removed, but became a white elephant as ppl moved to other carriages, so in the end, the seats were restored.. call it a boycott?
