theres indeed mk2s (CAC) both DM and WA in AMK depot.
theres also a mk4 DM (i read somewhere there was no more left
)
and sv57 i seen mk2s WA CAC and MBs earlier -
I took Service 57 today, and here's my review.
Route - 8 (The service had potential on this one.)
Loading - 5 (The main weakness of this service on weekends.)
Frequency -7 (This one's OK)
Comfort - 9 (Major point on this service)
Bus Fleet - 7 (Too bad this service cannot use DDs)
Overall - 80 (A potential service that might stay for years to come) -
Hi, just came back from taking service 57. Here are my comments:
Route - 10 / 10 : Very good and integrated route on this service. Serve Bishan, Toa Payoh, Whitely, Bukit Timah, Newton, North Bridge Road, Shenton Way, CBD, Telok Blangah, PSA, Keppel, Harbour Front, Bukit Merah. Good and Special Route
Loading - 3 / 10
Very few people take this service (as well as 5
, Except me.
Frequency -8 / 10
Freq. range is not bad, just like other bishan service.
Comfort - 5 / 10
This bus mainly uses MKII and MKII has a lot of weakness - Noisy, air-con not strong, the bus shakes when at high speed.
Bus Fleet - 6 / 10
This service (as well as 5 uses old bus like MKII & CRB. Should use newer bus like MKIV DM 3500 or VSO.
Overall - 60 / 100
This service has room for improvement. But in the begining, its OK.
I will evaulate service 58 next week (because it is holiday so I can take the service). -

and this service is the first to cross toa payoh using fuly lor 6 (and not lor 2, central, lor 6) -
