Bishan 58 Pasir Ris (New Service!)

Only Serangoon Ave 3 between Serangoon Ave 2 and Lor Chuan may not be suitable for DDs to ply due to the tight left turn from Lor Chuan into narrow Serangoon Ave 3. Looks like AMDEP appears to be having major responsibility for 58.

So HGDEP shifted some Mk2s to AMDEP for 58?!
Unlikely buses like 853G 2827U will be perm on 58, I guess they will be back on 28 and 10 respectively tomorrow, their slots taken over by SP Scania or Mk4. -
My review on Service 58.
Route - 7 (A few errors made by SBST)
Loading - 4 (Major problem on weekends)
Frequency - 6 (Another low point for this service)
Comfort - 9 (The only upside for this service)
Bus Fleet - 6 (I'm worried for the loading on weekdays)
Overall - 77 (Could use some improvement, but generally a good service) -

Hi, all. These three new services by sbs transit spurs my passion in buses again. Today, I am intending to take bus 58 but frequency is too long. 2 buses 156 have come before even a bus 58 comes. By the way, do u guys know the exact route which service 58 goes? I look at the notice put up by sbs transit and there are some parts that I don't exactly comprehend. Where do service 58 goes after it has turned right from AMK Avenue 1 to Lor Chuan and then turn left to Serangoon Avenue 3?

it however did not live up to my intended purposes. its drivers drive way too slow on tampines ave 10. that is an intended express sector linking paya lebar and PSR. supposed to let driver zip ip zip
meanwhile the freq of 58 is much better than most services. no complains there.
the loads on 58 have been picking up considerably. i last tried 58 on tue. got about 65 percent seating pax on bus. loads of up and downs from SPR to paya lebar.
residents in PSR are also getting used to the 58...by foregoing 359/88 and whacking the queue of 58 which is nearest to MRT entrance
