Bukit Timah bus interchange? Bukit Merah is it?Originally posted by sbst275:SINGAPORE : Bus commuters taking the City Shuttle Service 608 will have to pay more for their fares from August.
The SMRT said it had received approval from the Public Transport Council for the fare adjustment of Service 608, which runs between the Bedok and Bukit Timah bus interchanges.
Cash fares for adults and senior citizens will be increased by 10 cents, while adults using the ez-link card will pay 1 cent more.
The SMRT has decided to defer the approved 1-cent increase for senior citizens using the ez-link card for one year.
It is also extending its senior citizen concession hours from 9am to 4.30pm and from 7pm till the end of operation hours on weekdays and for the whole day on Saturdays.
Service 608 does not operate on Sundays and public holidays.
There will also be no change in cash and concession fares for commuters using Child or Student ez-link cards. - CNA/de
CSS want to increase price also now it is almost the same as SMRT and SBST for the cash fare but luckily not for the ezlink fare with only 1 cent increase which means that CSS will still be the lowest fare for public transport. Erm by the way you can put this topic in the topic CSS and no need to open a new topicOriginally posted by sbst275:SINGAPORE : Bus commuters taking the City Shuttle Service 608 will have to pay more for their fares from August.

Only the adult fares are being affected only by 1 cent for ez-link and 10 cents for cash. But for student fares it is not being affected so the 35 cents bus rides will still be retainedOriginally posted by CAIX:What !!! CSS also increase fares ? Now no more 35 cents bus rides.
