The article also mentioned that in 2010, sg will hopefully have 175km of rail network, exceeding the original long term target of 160km.
but that was in the white paper back in 1996!. and i thought they have revised their long term target(2030) to 540km? they are still using the old 160km target? or are they just saying that it would hav exceeded the old target initially set in 1996?
or have i gotten the facts all wrong? -

The posting at the MRT Forum hepls to clean up a "mess" as the SGFORUM. If a visitor happens to pass by the SGFORUM, a visitor of some standard would like to see things sorted out nicely and not messy right? (Like suddnely bus forum got MRT and so on.)
