  Compressor is under carriage and not on the top of the bus. One such example is TIB 0779 U.
  
  Hope this clarifies your misunderstanding. Please take note that the entire fleet of SMRT buses are air-conditioned.

  1816H is perm. Seen it numerous time on 147 with an 147 sticker sticked on the bus.

  The sgwiki(bus) stated it. But I looked into the bus but there was no sticker inside or stating whether which perm service the bus is serving or SP.
