Resource-rich to the extent that services requiring extra buses to cope with demand are forsaken?Originally posted by iamgoondu:The CT and Citybuzz reflect that SBST is resource-rich. Do you wish to see those buses sitting idly in bus parks?
Do you think smrt can afford such services? smrt probably has many new routes in mind but no empty buses!
You should compliment sbst and humiliate smrt instead.
I am quite comfortable with sbst services. perhaps you should feedback your observations to sbst instead. care to share your observations (services no, time, direction) here?Originally posted by SBS9818A:Resource-rich to the extent that services requiring extra buses to cope with demand are forsaken?

than wasting those buses for Citybuzz Buses
No one would like to see these buses sitting idly in BNDEP, that's why some if not all of the CityBuzz buses are deployed on BNDEP services in the AM peak before resuming back as CityBuzz services which start at 10am.Originally posted by iamgoondu:The CT and Citybuzz reflect that SBST is resource-rich. Maybe its also for connection to city?Originally posted by ^tamago^:CityBuzz are meant for targetted advertisement purposes. the tourist part actually not too important. it is to give advertisement more exposure in the city.
Chinatown Direct, i agree it's not really useful for a particular reason beyond CNY. Maybe some ppl will go, maybe it's a courtesy extended to senior citizens, tat's why it's still around.
Yeah..TrueOriginally posted by sbst275:Just off topic, 190 was better under SBS, same goes to other taken over CCK/ BBT svs..
As you said, industrial servces are rotting in hell while the newest and best buses are deployed on the money-losing Citybuzz routes.Originally posted by sbst275:Anyway, I dun really think CityBuzz can survive esp on other passenger's anger

It writes Moving With The Nation SMRT: Moving People, Enhancing LivesOriginally posted by iamgoondu:smrt is so 'cost-conscious' to the extend that they display no ndp banners, flags in any of their mrt stations (seen none on 4 aug in redhill, commonwealth stations). did sbst display any of those national days banners in nel stations?
